Testing the Spirits

Beloved, believe not every spirit, but prove the spirits, if they are of God; because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

Любимые, не каждому духу верьте, но проверяйте, от Бога ли эти духи, потому что много лжепророков вышло в мир.

Hereby ye know the Spirit of God: every spirit which confesses Jesus Christ come in flesh is of God;

Вы можете распознать Духа Божьего так: Дух, признающий, что Иисус Христос пришел в человеческом теле,10 — это Дух от Бога.

and every spirit which does not confess Jesus Christ come in flesh is not of God: and this is that [power] of the antichrist, [of] which ye have heard that it comes, and now it is already in the world.

Но дух, не признающий Иисуса, — не от Бога. Это дух антихриста, о котором вы слышали, что он придет, и он уже есть в мире.

*Ye* are of God, children, and have overcome them, because greater is he that [is] in you than he that [is] in the world.

*They* are of the world; for this reason they speak [as] of the world, and the world hears them.

Они от мира и поэтому говорят так, как говорят в мире, и мир слушает их.

*We* are of God; he that knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. From this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.

Но мы от Бога, и кто знает Бога, тот нас слушает, кто же не от Бога, тот не слушает нас. Так мы распознаем Духа истины и духа лжи.

Love Comes from God

Beloved, let us love one another; because love is of God, and every one that loves has been begotten of God, and knows God.

Дорогие, будем же любить друг друга, потому что любовь от Бога, и каждый, кто любит, рожден от Бога и знает Бога.

He that loves not has not known God; for God is love.

Кто не любит, тот не знает Бога, потому что Бог есть любовь!

Herein as to us has been manifested the love of God, that God has sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

Бог проявил Свою любовь к нам в том, что послал в мир Своего единственного Сына, чтобы мы через Него получили жизнь.

Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son a propitiation for our sins.

Любовь заключается не в том, что мы полюбили Бога, но в том, что Бог полюбил нас и послал Своего Сына в умилостивление за наши грехи.

Beloved, if God has so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

Дорогие, если Бог нас так любит, то и мы должны любить друг друга.

No one has seen God at any time: if we love one another, God abides in us, and his love is perfected in us.

Бога никто никогда не видел, но если мы любим друг друга, то в нас живет Сам Бог, и Его любовь в нас совершенна.

Hereby we know that we abide in him and he in us, that he has given to us of his Spirit.

Он дал нам от Своего Духа, и поэтому мы знаем, что мы в Нем, а Он в нас.

And *we* have seen, and testify, that the Father has sent the Son [as] Saviour of the world.

Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.

Кто признает Иисуса как Сына Божьего, в том пребывает Бог, и сам этот человек — в Боге.

And *we* have known and have believed the love which God has to us. God is love, and he that abides in love abides in God, and God in him.

Мы узнали и поверили, что Бог нас любит.
Бог есть любовь, и тот, кто пребывает в любви, пребывает в Боге, и Бог пребывает в нем.

Herein has love been perfected with us that we may have boldness in the day of judgment, that even as *he* is, *we* also are in this world.

Любовь достигла среди нас совершенства, так что мы можем со всей уверенностью встречать День Суда, потому что каков Он, таковы и мы в этом мире.

There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear; for fear has torment, and he that fears has not been made perfect in love.

В любви нет страха, но совершенная любовь прогоняет его, потому что страх связан с наказанием, и кто боится, тот еще не достиг совершенства в любви.

*We* love because *he* has first loved us.

Мы любим потому, что Он первый нас полюбил.

If any one say, I love God, and hate his brother, he is a liar: for he that loves not his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?

Кто говорит: «Я люблю Бога», но ненавидит своего брата, тот лжец. Кто не любит своего брата, которого он видел, тот не может любить Бога, Которого не видел.

21

And this commandment have we from him, That he that loves God love also his brother.

И вот повеление, которое Он нам оставил: «Кто любит Бога, тот должен любить и своего брата».
