They have been well pleased indeed, and they are their debtors; for if the nations have participated in their spiritual things, they ought also in fleshly to minister to them.

They were glad to do this because they feel they owe a real debt to them. Since the Gentiles received the spiritual blessings of the Good News from the believers in Jerusalem, they feel the least they can do in return is to help them financially.

Вони вирішили це зробити, бо відчувають свій обов’язок перед віруючими Єрусалиму. Оскільки погани розділили з юдеями їхні духовні блага, то мають і самі допомагати матеріально.

Бо ви́знали за добре, та й боржники́ вони їхні. Бо коли погани стали спільника́ми в їх духовнім, то повинні й у тілеснім послужити їм.

Они сами решили это сделать, ведь они и в самом деле в долгу перед ними. Как иудеи поделились с ними своими духовными благословениями, так и они, в свою очередь, должны поделиться с иудеями своими материальными благами.

Зволили, бо є їхніми боржниками. Адже якщо язичники стали співучасниками в їхніх духовних справах, то повинні й у тілесних послужити їм.
