Spiritual Gifts Bestowed

But concerning spiritual [manifestations], brethren, I do not wish you to be ignorant.

1

А щодо духовних да́рів, то не хо́чу я, браття, щоб не відали ви.

2

Ye know that when ye were [of the] nations [ye were] led away to dumb idols, in whatever way ye might be led.

2

Знаєте, що коли ви поганами були́, то ходили до німих ідолів, ніби воджено вас.

3

I give you therefore to know, that no one, speaking in [the power of the] Spirit of God, says, Curse [on] Jesus; and no one can say, Lord Jesus, unless in [the power of the] Holy Spirit.

Тому́ то кажу́ вам, що ніхто, хто говорить Духом Божим, не скаже: „Нехай ана́тема буде на Ісуса“, і не може сказати ніхто: „Ісус — то Госпо́дь“, як тільки Духом Святим.

4

But there are distinctions of gifts, but the same Spirit;

Є різниця між да́рами ми́лости, Дух же той Самий.

5

and there are distinctions of services, and the same Lord;

5

Є й різниця між служі́ннями, та Господь той же Самий.

and there are distinctions of operations, but the same God who operates all things in all.

Є різниця й між ді́ями, але Бог той же Самий, що в усіх робить усе.

But to each the manifestation of the Spirit is given for profit.

7

І кожному дається ви́явлення Духа на ко́ристь.

8

For to one, by the Spirit, is given [the] word of wisdom; and to another [the] word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit;

8

Одно́му бо Духом дається слово мудрости, а дру́гому слово знання́ тим же Духом,

9

and to a different one faith, in [the power of] the same Spirit; and to another gifts of healing in [the power of] the same Spirit;

9

а іншому віра тим же Духом, а іншому да́ри вздоро́влення тим же Духом,

10

and to another operations of miracles; and to another prophecy; and to another discerning of spirits; and to a different one kinds of tongues; and to another interpretation of tongues.

10

а іншому ро́блення чуд, а іншому пророкува́ння, а іншому розпізнава́ння ду́хів, а тому різні мови, а іншому вия́снення мов.

11

But all these things operates the one and the same Spirit, dividing to each in particular according as he pleases.

А все оце чинить один і той Самий Дух, уділя́ючи кожному осібно, як Він хоче.

12

Many Members, One Body

For even as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of the body, being many, are one body, so also [is] the Christ.

12

Бо як тіло одне, але має членів багато, усі ж чле́ни ті́ла, хоч їх багато, то тіло одне, — так і Христос.

13

For also in [the power of] one Spirit *we* have all been baptised into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether bondmen or free, and have all been given to drink of one Spirit.

Бо ми всі одним Духом охрищені в тіло одне, — чи то юдеї, чи ге́ллени, чи раби, чи то вільні, — і всі ми напо́єні Духом одним.

14

For also the body is not one member but many.

14

Бо тіло не є один член, а багато.

15

If the foot say, Because I am not a hand I am not of the body, is it on account of this not indeed of the body?

15

Коли скаже нога, що я не від тіла, бо я не рука, — то хіба через це не від тіла вона?

16

And if the ear say, Because I am not an eye I am not of the body, is it on account of this not indeed of the body?

16

І коли скаже вухо, що я не від тіла, бо я не око, — то хіба через це не від тіла воно?

17

If the whole body [were] an eye, where the hearing? if all hearing, where the smelling?

17

Коли б оком було ці́ле тіло, то де був би слух? А коли б усе слух, то де був би нюх?

18

But now God has set the members, each one of them in the body, according as it has pleased [him].

18

Та нині Бог розкла́в чле́ни в тілі, кожного з них, як хотів.

19

But if all were one member, where the body?

19

Якби всі одним чле́ном були́, — то де тіло було б?

20

But now the members [are] many, and the body one.

20

Отож, тепер чле́нів багато, — та тіло одне.

21

The eye cannot say to the hand, I have not need of thee; or again, the head to the feet, I have not need of you.

21

Бо око не може сказати руці: „Ти мені непотрібна“; або голова знов нога́м: „Ви мені непотрібні“.

22

But much rather, the members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary;

22

Але чле́ни тіла, що здаються слабіші, значно більше потрібні.

23

and those [parts] of the body which we esteem to be the more void of honour, these we clothe with more abundant honour; and our uncomely [parts] have more abundant comeliness;

23

А тим, що вважаємо їх за зовсім нешановані в тілі, таким честь найбільшу приносимо, і бридкі наші члени отримують пристойність найбільшу,

24

but our comely [parts] have not need. But God has tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to [the part] that lacked;

24

а нашим пристойним того не — потрібно. Та Бог змішав тіло, і честь більшу дав нижчому членові,

25

that there might be no division in the body, but that the members might have the same concern one for another.

25

щоб поді́лення в тілі не було́, а щоб чле́ни одна́ково дбали один про о́дного.

26

And if one member suffer, all the members suffer with [it]; and if one member be glorified, all the members rejoice with [it].

26

І коли те́рпить один член, то всі чле́ни з ним те́рплять; і коли один член пошано́ваний, то всі члени з ним тішаться.

27

Now *ye* are Christ's body, and members in particular.

27

І ви — тіло Христове, а зосібна — ви чле́ни!

28

Spiritual Gifts

And God has set certain in the assembly: first, apostles; secondly, prophets; thirdly, teachers; then miraculous powers; then gifts of healings; helps; governments; kinds of tongues.

28

А інших поставив Бог у Церкві поперше — апо́столами, подруге — проро́ками, потрете — учителя́ми, потім дав сили, також да́ри вздоро́влення, допомо́ги, управлі́ння, різні мови.

29

[Are] all apostles? [are] all prophets? [are] all teachers? [are] all [in possession of] miraculous powers?

29

Чи ж усі апо́столи? Чи ж усі пророки? Чи ж усі вчителі? Чи ж усі сили чудодійні?

30

have all gifts of healings? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?

30

Чи ж усі мають да́ри вздоро́влення? Чи ж мовами всі розмовляють? Чи ж усі виясня́ють?

31

But desire earnestly the greater gifts, and yet shew I unto you a way of more surpassing excellence.

31

Тож дбайте ре́вно про ліпші да́ри́, а я вам покажу́ путь іще кращу!
