Spiritual Gifts Bestowed

But concerning spiritual [manifestations], brethren, I do not wish you to be ignorant.

1

Не хочу, брати, щоб ви були необізнані з духовними дарами.

2

Ye know that when ye were [of the] nations [ye were] led away to dumb idols, in whatever way ye might be led.

2

Знаєте, як ще ви були язичниками, то ходили до німих ідолів, ніби хто водив вас.

3

I give you therefore to know, that no one, speaking in [the power of the] Spirit of God, says, Curse [on] Jesus; and no one can say, Lord Jesus, unless in [the power of the] Holy Spirit.

Тому й кажу вам, що ніхто з тих, які промовляють Божим Духом, не скаже: Анатема Ісус! І ніхто не може сказати: Господь Ісус! — хіба тільки Духом Святим.

But there are distinctions of gifts, but the same Spirit;

Дари є різноманітні, а Дух — той самий.

and there are distinctions of services, and the same Lord;

5

І служіння різноманітні, а Господь той самий.

and there are distinctions of operations, but the same God who operates all things in all.

І дії різноманітні, а Бог той самий, — Він робить усе в усіх.

But to each the manifestation of the Spirit is given for profit.

Кожному дається виявлення Духа на спільну користь.

For to one, by the Spirit, is given [the] word of wisdom; and to another [the] word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit;

Одному Дух дає слово мудрості, іншому — слово знання тим же Духом,

9

and to a different one faith, in [the power of] the same Spirit; and to another gifts of healing in [the power of] the same Spirit;

9

іншому — віру тим же Духом, іншому — дари оздоровлень тим самим Духом,

10

and to another operations of miracles; and to another prophecy; and to another discerning of spirits; and to a different one kinds of tongues; and to another interpretation of tongues.

іншому — робити чудеса, іншому — пророкувати, іншому — розпізнавати духів, іншому — різні мови, іншому — пояснення мов.

11

But all these things operates the one and the same Spirit, dividing to each in particular according as he pleases.

А все це робить один і той же Дух, даючи окремо кожному, як хоче.

Many Members, One Body

For even as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of the body, being many, are one body, so also [is] the Christ.

Бо як тіло одне, але має багато членів, так і всі члени: хоч їх багато, становлять [одне] тіло, — так і Христос.

13

For also in [the power of] one Spirit *we* have all been baptised into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether bondmen or free, and have all been given to drink of one Spirit.

13

Адже всі ми хрещені одним Духом в одне тіло: чи то юдеї, чи греки, чи раби, чи вільні, — усі одним Духом напоєні.

14

For also the body is not one member but many.

14

Бо тіло складається не з одного члена, а з багатьох.

15

If the foot say, Because I am not a hand I am not of the body, is it on account of this not indeed of the body?

15

Якщо скаже нога, що «я не рука і тому не належу до тіла», то хіба через це вона не належить до тіла?

16

And if the ear say, Because I am not an eye I am not of the body, is it on account of this not indeed of the body?

І якщо вухо скаже, що «я не око і тому не належу до тіла», то хіба через це воно не належить до тіла?

17

If the whole body [were] an eye, where the hearing? if all hearing, where the smelling?

Якщо все тіло є оком, то де слух? Якщо все є слухом, то де нюх?

18

But now God has set the members, each one of them in the body, according as it has pleased [him].

18

Тепер же Бог розмістив члени в тілі — кожного з них, як забажав.

19

But if all were one member, where the body?

19

Якби всі були одним членом, то де тіло?

20

But now the members [are] many, and the body one.

20

Тепер же — членів багато, а тіло одне.

21

The eye cannot say to the hand, I have not need of thee; or again, the head to the feet, I have not need of you.

21

Не може око сказати руці: Ти мені не потрібна. Або знову — голова ногам: Ви мені не потрібні.

22

But much rather, the members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary;

22

Але ті члени тіла, що вважаються слабшими, значно більше потрібні.

23

and those [parts] of the body which we esteem to be the more void of honour, these we clothe with more abundant honour; and our uncomely [parts] have more abundant comeliness;

23

А ті, які вважаємо непристойними в тілі, саме їх більше шануємо; і непоказні наші члени одержують більшу повагу,

24

but our comely [parts] have not need. But God has tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to [the part] that lacked;

24

а наші показні члени цього не потребують. Бог склав тіло так, що нижчому дав більшу пошану,

25

that there might be no division in the body, but that the members might have the same concern one for another.

25

щоб не було поділу в тілі, але щоби члени одні про одних дбали.

26

And if one member suffer, all the members suffer with [it]; and if one member be glorified, all the members rejoice with [it].

26

І якщо страждає один член, з ним страждають усі члени; якщо в пошані один член, з ним радіють усі члени.

27

Now *ye* are Christ's body, and members in particular.

27

Ви — тіло Христа, а окремо ви члени.

Spiritual Gifts

And God has set certain in the assembly: first, apostles; secondly, prophets; thirdly, teachers; then miraculous powers; then gifts of healings; helps; governments; kinds of tongues.

28

Деяких Бог поставив у Церкві: по-перше — апостолами, по-друге — пророками, по-третє — учителями; потім — чудеса, тоді — дари оздоровлення, допомоги, управління, знання різних мов.

29

[Are] all apostles? [are] all prophets? [are] all teachers? [are] all [in possession of] miraculous powers?

29

Чи всі апостоли? Чи всі пророки? Чи всі вчителі? Чи всі творять чудеса?

30

have all gifts of healings? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?

30

Чи всі мають дари оздоровляти? Чи всі мовами говорять? Чи всі пояснюють?

31

But desire earnestly the greater gifts, and yet shew I unto you a way of more surpassing excellence.

31

Тож ревно дбайте про більші дари, а далі я вам показую ще кращий шлях.
