Darby Bible Translation

New International Version

  • Bear One Another's Burdens

Brethren, if even a man be taken in some fault, ye who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of meekness, considering thyself lest *thou* also be tempted.
  • Doing Good to All

Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted.
  • Bear one another's burdens, and thus fulfil the law of the Christ.
  • Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
  • For if any man reputes himself to be something, being nothing, he deceives himself;
  • If anyone thinks they are something when they are not, they deceive themselves.
  • but let each prove his own work, and then he will have his boast in what belongs to himself alone, and not in what belongs to another.
  • Each one should test their own actions. Then they can take pride in themselves alone, without comparing themselves to someone else,
  • For each shall bear his own burden.
  • for each one should carry their own load.
  • Let him that is taught in the word communicate to him that teaches in all good things.
  • Nevertheless, the one who receives instruction in the word should share all good things with their instructor.
  • Be not deceived: God is not mocked; for whatever a man shall sow, that also shall he reap.
  • Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.
  • For he that sows to his own flesh, shall reap corruption from the flesh; but he that sows to the Spirit, from the Spirit shall reap eternal life:
  • Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.
  • but let us not lose heart in doing good; for in due time, if we do not faint, we shall reap.
  • Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
  • So then, as we have occasion, let us do good towards all, and specially towards those of the household of faith.
  • Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.
  • Paul's Final Warning

See how long a letter I have written to you with my own hand.
  • Not Circumcision but the New Creation

See what large letters I use as I write to you with my own hand!
  • As many as desire to have a fair appearance in [the] flesh, these compel you to be circumcised, only that they may not be persecuted because of the cross of Christ.
  • Those who want to impress people by means of the flesh are trying to compel you to be circumcised. The only reason they do this is to avoid being persecuted for the cross of Christ.
  • For neither do they that are circumcised themselves keep the law; but they wish you to be circumcised, that they may boast in your flesh.
  • Not even those who are circumcised keep the law, yet they want you to be circumcised that they may boast about your circumcision in the flesh.
  • But far be it from me to boast save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom [the] world is crucified to me, and I to the world.
  • May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through whicha the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
  • For [in Christ Jesus] neither is circumcision anything, nor uncircumcision; but new creation.
  • Neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything; what counts is the new creation.
  • Benediction

And as many as shall walk by this rule, peace upon them and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.
  • Peace and mercy to all who follow this rule — tob the Israel of God.
  • For the rest let no one trouble me, for *I* bear in my body the brands of the Lord Jesus.
  • From now on, let no one cause me trouble, for I bear on my body the marks of Jesus.
  • The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ [be] with your spirit, brethren. Amen.
  • The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brothers and sisters. Amen.
