Bear One Another's Burdens

Brethren, if even a man be taken in some fault, ye who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of meekness, considering thyself lest *thou* also be tempted.

Брати, якщо і впаде людина в якийсь переступ, то ви, духовні, виправляйте такого духом лагідності, кожний пильнуючи за собою, щоб і самому не потрапити в спокусу.

Bear one another's burdens, and thus fulfil the law of the Christ.

Носіть тягарі один одного і таким чином виконаєте Закон Христа.

For if any man reputes himself to be something, being nothing, he deceives himself;

Бо коли хто думає, що він є кимось, будучи нічим, то сам себе обманює.

but let each prove his own work, and then he will have his boast in what belongs to himself alone, and not in what belongs to another.

Нехай кожний випробовує своє діло, і тоді матиме похвалу тільки в собі, а не перед іншими.

For each shall bear his own burden.

Бо кожний нестиме власний тягар.

Let him that is taught in the word communicate to him that teaches in all good things.

Той, хто навчається слова, нехай ділиться всім добром із тим, хто його навчає.

Be not deceived: God is not mocked; for whatever a man shall sow, that also shall he reap.

Не обманюйтеся, — Бог осміяний бути не може. Бо що лише людина посіє, те й пожне.

For he that sows to his own flesh, shall reap corruption from the flesh; but he that sows to the Spirit, from the Spirit shall reap eternal life:

Адже хто сіє для свого тіла, — пожне від тіла тління, а хто сіє для духа, — пожне від Духа вічне життя.

but let us not lose heart in doing good; for in due time, if we do not faint, we shall reap.

Роблячи добро, не втрачаймо запалу, бо свого часу пожнемо, якщо не ослабнемо.

So then, as we have occasion, let us do good towards all, and specially towards those of the household of faith.

Тому, поки маємо час, робімо добро всім, а найперше тим, які рідні у вірі.

Paul's Final Warning

See how long a letter I have written to you with my own hand.

Погляньте, якими великими літерами написав я вам своєю рукою!

As many as desire to have a fair appearance in [the] flesh, these compel you to be circumcised, only that they may not be persecuted because of the cross of Christ.

Ті, хто бажає хвалитися тілом, змушують вас обрізатися, щоб не бути переслідуваними за хрест Христа.

13

For neither do they that are circumcised themselves keep the law; but they wish you to be circumcised, that they may boast in your flesh.

Адже ті, хто обрізується, самі Закону не дотримують, але бажають, щоб ви були обрізані, аби хвалитися вашим тілом.

But far be it from me to boast save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom [the] world is crucified to me, and I to the world.

А я не став би хвалитися нічим іншим, як тільки хрестом Господа нашого Ісуса Христа, яким для мене розп’ятий світ, а я — для світу.

15

For [in Christ Jesus] neither is circumcision anything, nor uncircumcision; but new creation.

Адже [в Ісусі Христі] не має значення ні обрізання, ні необрізання, але нове творіння.

Benediction

And as many as shall walk by this rule, peace upon them and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.

І на всіх, хто буде дотримуватися цього правила, нехай на них і на Божому Ізраїлі спочине мир і милість.

For the rest let no one trouble me, for *I* bear in my body the brands of the Lord Jesus.

Зрештою, хай ніхто не завдає мені труднощів, бо я ношу на моєму тілі рани [Господа] Ісуса.

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ [be] with your spirit, brethren. Amen.
