Simeon's Territory

And the second lot came forth to Simeon, for the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families; and their inheritance was within the inheritance of the children of Judah.

Жереб другий вийшов Симеонові, про (деякі) родини в поколїннї синів Симеонових; а часть їх містилася серед наслїдньої держави Юдиних синів.

And they had in their inheritance Beer-sheba, and Sheba, and Moladah,

В удїлї їх були: Вирсавія, Саба і Молада,

and Hazar-Shual, and Balah, and Ezem,

3

Газар-Шуал, Вала й Азем,

4

and Eltolad, and Bethul, and Hormah,

4

Елтолад, Бетул і Хорма,

5

and Ziklag, and Beth-marcaboth, and Hazar-susah,

5

Зиклаг, Бет-Маркабот і Газар-Суса,

6

and Beth-lebaoth, and Sharuhen: thirteen cities and their hamlets;

Бет-Лебаот і Сарухен — тринайцять міст з їх селами,

7

Ain, Rimmon, and Ether, and Ashan: four cities and their hamlets;

7

Анн, Риммон, Етер та Ашан — чотири міста з їх селами,

and all the hamlets that are round these cities to Baalath-beer, [that is] Ramah of the south. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families.

І всї села навкруги названих городів аж до Баалат-Беера або Рами полуденньої. Се часть (деяких) родин у поколїннї Симеоновому.

Out of the lot of the children of Judah was the inheritance of the children of Simeon; for the portion of the children of Judah was too great for them, and the children of Simeon inherited within their inheritance.

Від участку синів Юдиних взято удїл синів Симеонових; земляний бо надїл синів Юдиних був надто великий про них, тож й одержали Симеонїї наслїдню державу в серединї їх паю.

Zebulun's Territory

And the third lot came up for the children of Zebulun according to their families. And the border of their inheritance was unto Sarid;

Третий жереб вийшов про (деякі) родини Зебулона, і займище наслїдньої держави їх доходило до Сарида;

11

and their border went up westwards, and [to] Marealah, and reached to Dabbesheth, and reached to the torrent that is before Jokneam;

11

Гряниця ж їх тягнеться вгору до моря і до Марела, торкається до Даббесета, і впирається в річку, що перед Йокнеамом;

12

and turned from Sarid eastward, toward the sun-rising, to the border of Chisloth-Tabor, and went out to Dabrath, and went up to Japhia;

На схід сонця же повертає від Сарида на займище Кислот-Таборське, відсї йде на Даверат та тягнеться на Яфію;

13

and from thence it passed eastward toward the sun-rising to Gath-Hepher, to Eth-kazin, and went out to Rimmon which reaches to Neah;

Звідтіля проходить на схід сонця повернувшись на Гет-Хефер, на Ітту-Казин і йде далїй на Риммон, Мітоар і Нею;

14

and the border turned round it northwards to Hannathon: and ended in the valley of Jiphthah-el; ...

Тодї повертає від півночі на Ханнатон, а кінчається в Іфтах-Ел долинї;

15

and Kattath, and Nahalal, and Shimron, and Jidalah, and Beth-lehem: twelve cities and their hamlets.

Дальше Каттаф, Нагалал, Симрон, Ідеала та Бетлеєм — дванайцять міст з їх селами.

This was the inheritance of the children of Zebulun according to their families, these cities and their hamlets.

Се наслїдня держава (деяких) родин Зебулона, се міста з їх селами.

Issachar's Territory

The fourth lot came forth to Issachar, for the children of Issachar according to their families.

17

Четвертий жереб, вийшов Іссахарові про (деякі) родини Іссахара;

18

And their territory was toward Jizreel, and Chesulloth, and Shunem,

А границями їх були: Езреель, Кесуллот і Сунем,

19

and Hapharaim, and Shion, and Anaharath,

19

Хафараім, Шіон й Анахарат,

20

and Rabbith, and Kishion, and Ebez,

20

Раввит, Кишіон й Авез,

21

and Remeth, and En-gannim, and En-haddah, and Beth-pazzez;

21

Ремот, Ен-Ганним, Ен-Хадда, та Бет-Пазез;

22

and the border reached to Tabor, and Shahazimah, and Beth-shemesh; and their border ended at the Jordan: sixteen cities and their hamlets.

22

І торкається гряниця до Табора, та до Сагазима, та до Бет-Самиса, а кінчалась гряниця їх на Йорданї — шіснайцять міст із їх селами.

23

This was the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Issachar according to their families, the cities and their hamlets.

23

Се наслїдня держава (деяких) родин Іссахарових, се городи й села їх.

24

Asher's Territory

And the fifth lot came forth for the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families.

24

Пятий жереб вийшов про (деякі) родини в поколїннї Ассера;

25

And their territory was Helkath, and Hali, and Beten, and Acshaph,

25

А границї їх були Хелкат, Халі, Бетен і Ахсаф,

26

and Allammelech, and Amead, and Mishal; and [the border] reached to Carmel westwards, and to Shihor-libnath,

26

Аламелех, Амад і Мишал, а впирається границя в Кармел з західнього боку і в Сихор-Ливнат;

27

and turned towards the sun-rising to Beth-Dagon, and reached to Zebulun, and to the valley of Jiphthah-el northward [to] Beth-emek and Neiel, and went out to Cabul on the left,

Тодї повертає назад на схід сонця на Бет-Дагон, торкається до Зебулона та до Іфтах-Ел долини на півночі, та до Бет-Емек і Неіел, і йде на Кабул з лївого боку;

28

and Ebron, and Rehob, and Hammon, and Kanah, as far as great Zidon;

28

Дальше Геброн, Рехов, Хаммон та Кана, до великого Сидону;

29

and the border turned to Ramah, and as far as the fortified city of Tyre; and the border turned to Hosah; and ended at the sea by the tract of country of Achzib;

29

Тодї повертає гряниця назад до Рами та до утвердженого Тирус-города, і повертає гряниця на Хос, а кінець їй над морем у Ахсиві місточку;

30

and Ummah, and Aphek, and Rehob: twenty-two cities and their hamlets.

30

А до того Умма, Афек та Рехоб: двайцять і два городи з їх селами.

31

This was the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families, these cities and their hamlets.

31

Се наслїдня держава (деяких) родин у поколїннї Ассер, се міста з їх селами.

Naphtali's Territory

The sixth lot came forth to the children of Naphtali, for the children of Naphtali according to their families.

32

Про Нафталїя жереб шестий, про (деякі) родини синів Нафталїєвих;

33

And their border was from Heleph, from the oak of Zaanannim; and Adami-nekeb and Jabneel to Lakkum; and ended at the Jordan;

33

Гряниця їх ійшла від Хелефа, від дуброви, що при Заннанимі, до Адами-Некеба й Ябнеїла та аж до Лаккума, та кінчилась на Йорданї;

34

and the border turned westwards to Aznoth-Tabor, and went out from thence to Hukkok, and reached to Zebulun on the south, and reached to Asher on the west, and to Judah upon Jordan towards the sun-rising.

Звідсї гряниця повертає на захід сонця на Аснот-Табор, а звідти йде на Гуккок, і стикається на полуднї з Забулоном, а з Ассиром стикаяться від заходу, до Юди же й Йорданї від сходу сонця.

35

And the fortified cities were Ziddim, Zer, and Hammath, Rakkath, and Chinnereth,

А утверджені міста були: Зиддим, Зер, Гаммат, Раккат і Хинерет,

36

and Adamah, and Ramah, and Hazor,

36

Адама, Рама й Асор,

37

and Kedesh, and Edrei, and En-Hazor,

37

Кедес, Едрея і Ен-Газор,

38

and Jiron, and Migdal-el, Horem, and Beth-anath, and Beth-shemesh: nineteen cities and their hamlets.

38

Іреон, Мигдал-Ел, Горем, Бет-Аннат і Бетсамис — девятнайцять городів з їх селами.

39

This was the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Naphtali according to their families, the cities and their hamlets.

39

Се була наслїдня держава (деяких) родин у поколїннї синів Нафталїєвих, се міста з їх селами.

Dan's Territory

The seventh lot came forth for the tribe of the children of Dan according to their families.

40

Про (деякі) родини в поколїннї синів Данових вийшов жереб семий;

41

And the territory of their inheritance was Zoreah, and Eshtaol, and Ir-shemesh,

41

А границею наслїдньої держави їх були: Зора, Естайол, та Ір-Семеш,

42

and Shaalabbin, and Ajalon, and Jithlah,

42

Шаалаввин, Аіалон, Іла,

43

and Elon, and Timnathah, and Ekron,

43

Елон, Тимната й Екрон,

44

and El-tekeh, and Gibbethon, and Baalath,

44

Елтеке, Гиббетон і Баалат,

45

and Jehud, and Beneberak, and Gath-Rimmon,

45

Ігуд, Бене-Барак і Гат-Риммон,

46

and Me-jarkon, and Rakkon, with the border over against Japho.

Ме-Яркон і Раккон вкупі з займищем проти Йоппії. І вийшов пай синів Данових надто малий для них.

And the border of the children of Dan ended with these; and the children of Dan went up and fought against Leshem, and took it, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and took possession of it, and dwelt in it, and called Leshem, Dan, after the name of Dan their father.

Тодї Данії вийшли на війну проти Ласем, звоювали його та й підневолили в крівавому бою, і взяли його в свою державу та й осїлись у ньому і проложили йому прізвище Ласем-Дан в імя предка свого Дана.

This was the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Dan according to their families, these cities and their hamlets.

Се наслїдня держава (деяких) родин у поколїннї Дана, се городи з їх селами.

Joshua's Inheritance

And they ended dividing the land for inheritance according to its borders. And the children of Israel gave an inheritance to Joshua the son of Nun among them.

49

Як же скінчили вони подїл землї по гряницям її, тодї надїлили сини Ізраїля наслїдню державу Йозуйові Нуненкові серед себе.

50

According to the word of Jehovah they gave him the city that he asked, Timnath-serah in the hill-country of Ephraim; and he built the city, and dwelt in it.

По обітницї Господнїй надїлили вони йому місто, яке собі бажав, се б то Тамнат-Сараа на Ефраїмових горах. І укріпив він місто і осївсь у йому.

These were the inheritances, which Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun, and the chief fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel, distributed by lot in Shiloh before Jehovah, at the entrance of the tent of meeting. And they ended dividing the land.

Се та наслїдня дїлениця, що подїлили по жеребам Елеазар сьвященник та Йозуа Нуненко та голови в поколїннях Ізрайлевих у Силомі перед Господом при входї в громадський намет. І сим робом закінчили вони подїл (обітованої) землї.
