Darby Bible Translation

New King James Version

  • Seven Angels with Seven Plagues

And I saw another sign in the heaven, great and wonderful: seven angels having seven plagues, the last; for in them the fury of God is completed.
  • Prelude to the Bowl Judgments

Then I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvelous: seven angels having the seven last plagues, for in them the wrath of God is complete.
  • And I saw as a glass sea, mingled with fire, and those that had gained the victory over the beast, and over its image, and over the number of its name, standing upon the glass sea, having harps of God.
  • And I saw something like a sea of glass mingled with fire, and those who have the victory over the beast, over his image and [a]over his mark and over the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, having harps of God.
  • And they sing the song of Moses bondman of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and wonderful [are] thy works, Lord God Almighty; righteous and true [are] thy ways, O King of nations.
  • They sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying:
“Great and marvelous are Your works,
    Lord God Almighty!
Just and true are Your ways,
    O King of the [b]saints!
  • Who shall not fear [thee], O Lord, and glorify thy name? for [thou] only [art] holy; for all nations shall come and do homage before thee; for thy righteousnesses have been made manifest.
  • Who shall not fear You, O Lord, and glorify Your name?
    For You alone are holy.
For all nations shall come and worship before You,
For Your judgments have been manifested.”
  • And after these things I saw, and the temple of the tabernacle of witness in the heaven was opened;
  • After these things I looked, and [c]behold, the [d]temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened.
  • and the seven angels who had the seven plagues came out of the temple, clothed in pure bright linen, and girded about the breasts with golden girdles.
  • And out of the [e]temple came the seven angels having the seven plagues, clothed in pure bright linen, and having their chests girded with golden bands.
  • And one of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden bowls, full of the fury of God, who lives to the ages of ages.
  • Then one of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden bowls full of the wrath of God who lives forever and ever.
  • And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from his power: and no one could enter into the temple until the seven plagues of the seven angels were completed.
  • The temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from His power, and no one was able to enter the temple till the seven plagues of the seven angels were completed.
