And a strong angel took up a stone, as a great millstone, and cast [it] into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall Babylon the great city be cast down, and shall be found no more at all;

And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.

“With such violence
the great city of Babylon will be thrown down,
never to be found again. -

И один сильный Ангел взял камень, подобный большому жёрнову, и поверг в море, говоря: с таким стремлением повержен будет Вавилон, великий город, и уже не будет его.

І взяв один ангел сильний камінь, ніби жорно велике, і поверг у море кажучи: «Так стрімко повержений буде Вавилон, великий город, і не знайдеться більше.

І підняв один сильний ангел каменя, наче млинового, великого, і кинув у море, глаголючи: З таким розгоном буде кинутий Вавилон, великий город, і вже більш його не знайдуть. -
Тоді могутній Ангел підняв камінь завбільшки з жорно й кинув його в море зі словами:
«Так саме і велике місто Вавилон буде безжалісно скинуте, і вже ніхто його не побачить. Ніколи більше не повстане воно. -
І один сильний ангол узяв великого каменя, як жо́рно, і кинув до моря, говорячи: „З таким розго́ном буде кинений Вавило́н, місто велике, — і вже він не зна́йдеться!

Затем могучий ангел взял большой камень размером с мельничный жернов и бросил его в море, говоря:
— Так будет брошена и великая столица Вавилон,
и никто уже ее не найдет. -
А один сильний ангел узяв великий, наче жорно, камінь і кинув у море, кажучи: Так стрімко буде вкинене велике місто Вавилон, і не буде його більше.
