Rejoicing in Heaven

After these things I heard as a loud voice of a great multitude in the heaven, saying, Hallelujah: the salvation and the glory and the power of our God:

1

По цьому почув я на́че гучни́й голос великого на́товпу в небі, який говорив: „Алілу́я! Спасі́ння, і слава, і сила Господе́ві нашому,

2

for true and righteous [are] his judgments; for he has judged the great harlot which corrupted the earth with her fornication, and has avenged the blood of his bondmen at her hand.

правдиві бо та справедливі суди́ Його, бо Він засудив ту велику розпусницю, що землю зіпсула своєю розпустою, і помстив за кров Своїх рабів з її рук!“

3

And a second time they said, Hallelujah. And her smoke goes up to the ages of ages.

І вдруге сказали вони: „Алілуя! І з неї дим виступає на вічні віки!“

4

And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and did homage to God who sits upon the throne, saying, Amen, Hallelujah.

І попа́дали двадцять чотири ста́рці й чотири твари́ні, і поклонилися Богові, що сидить на престолі, говорячи: „Амінь, алілуя!“

5

And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his bondmen, [and] ye that fear him, small and great.

А від престолу вийшов голос, що кли́кав: „Хваліть Бога нашого, усі раби Його, і всі, хто боїться Його, і малі, і великі!“

6

The Marriage of the Lamb

And I heard as a voice of a great crowd, and as a voice of many waters, and as a voice of strong thunders, saying, Hallelujah, for [the] Lord our God the Almighty has taken to himself kingly power.

І почув я ніби голос великого на́товпу, і на́че шум великої води, і мов голос громів гучних, що вигукували: „Алілуя, бо запанував Господь, наш Бог Вседержи́тель!

7

Let us rejoice and exult, and give him glory; for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife has made herself ready.

Радіймо та тішмося, і даймо славу Йому́, бо весі́лля Агнця настало, і жона Його себе приготува́ла!“

8

And it was given to her that she should be clothed in fine linen, bright [and] pure; for the fine linen is the righteousnesses of the saints.

І їй да́но було зодягнутися в чистий та світлий вісо́н, бо віссо́н — то праведність святих.

9

And he says to me, Write, Blessed [are] they who are called to the supper of the marriage of the Lamb. And he says to me, These are the true words of God.

9

І сказав він мені: „Напиши: Блаженні покликані на весільну вечерю Агнця!“ І сказав він мені: „Це правдиві Божі слова!“

10

And I fell before his feet to do him homage. And he says to me, See [thou do it] not. I am thy fellow-bondman, and [the fellow-bondman] of thy brethren who have the testimony of Jesus. Do homage to God. For the spirit of prophecy is the testimony of Jesus.

І я впав до його ніг, щоб вклонитись йому. А він каже мені: „Таж ні! Я співслуга твій та братів твоїх, хто має засві́дчення Ісусове, — Богові вклонися!“ Бо засві́дчення Ісусове, — то дух пророцтва.

11

The Rider on the White Horse

And I saw the heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and one sitting on it, [called] Faithful and True, and he judges and makes war in righteousness.

І побачив я небо відкрите. І ось білий кінь, а Той, Хто на ньому сидів, зветься Вірний і Правдивий, і Він праведно судить і воює.

12

And his eyes are a flame of fire, and upon his head many diadems, having a name written which no one knows but himself;

12

Очі Його — немов по́лум'я огняне́, а на голові Його — багато вінців. Він ім'я́ мав написане, якого не знає ніхто, тільки Він Сам.

13

and [he is] clothed with a garment dipped in blood; and his name is called The Word of God.

13

I зодя́гнений був Він у шату, покра́шену кров'ю. А Йому на ім'я: Слово Боже.

14

And the armies which [are] in the heaven followed him upon white horses, clad in white, pure, fine linen.

А війська́ небесні, зодягнені в білий та чистий віссо́н, їхали вслід за Ним на білих ко́нях.

15

And out of his mouth goes a sharp [two-edged] sword, that with it he might smite the nations; and he shall shepherd them with an iron rod; and he treads the wine-press of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty.

А з Його уст виходив гострий меч, щоб ним бити наро́ди. І Він па́стиме їх залізним жезлом, і Він буде топтати чави́ло вина лютого гніву Бога Вседержи́теля!

16

And he has upon his garment, and upon his thigh, a name written, King of kings, and Lord of lords.

16

I Він має на шаті й на сте́гнах Своїх написане ймення: „Цар над царями, і Господь над панами“.

17

Defeat of the Beast and False Prophet

And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in mid-heaven, Come, gather yourselves to the great supper of God,

І бачив я одного ангола, що на сонці стояв. І він гучним голосом кли́кнув, ка́жучи до всіх птахів, що серед неба літали: „Ходіть, — і зберіться на велику Божу вечерю,

18

that ye may eat flesh of kings, and flesh of chiliarchs, and flesh of strong men, and flesh of horses and of those that sit upon them, and flesh of all, both free and bond, and small and great.

18

щоб ви їли тіла царів, і тіла ти́сячників, і тіла сильних, і тіла ко́ней і тих, хто сидить на них, і тіла всіх вільних і рабів, і мали́х, і великих“.

19

And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to make war against him that sat upon the horse, and against his army.

19

І я побачив звіри́ну, і зе́мних царів, і війська́ їхні, зібрані, щоб учинити війну з Тим, Хто сидить на коні, та з ві́йськом Його.

20

And the beast was taken, and the false prophet that [was] with him, who wrought the signs before him by which he deceived them that received the mark of the beast, and those that worship his image. Alive were both cast into the lake of fire which burns with brimstone;

І схо́плена була звіри́на, а з нею неправдивий пророк, що ознаки чинив перед нею, що ними звів тих, хто знаме́но звіри́ни прийняв і поклонився був о́бразові її. Обоє вони були вкинені живими до огняно́го озера, що сіркою горіло.

21

and the rest were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which goes out of his mouth; and all the birds were filled with their flesh.

А решта побита була мечем Того, Хто сидів на коні, що виходив із уст Його. І все пта́ство наїлося їхніми трупами.
