Message to the Church in Ephesus

To the angel of the assembly in Ephesus write: These things says he that holds the seven stars in his right hand, who walks in the midst of the seven golden lamps:

1

— Ангелу15 церкви в Эфесе напиши:
«Так говорит Держащий в правой руке семь звезд и Ходящий среди семи золотых светильников:

2

I know thy works and [thy] labour, and thine endurance, and that thou canst not bear evil [men]; and thou hast tried them who say that themselves [are] apostles and are not, and hast found them liars;

Я знаю твои дела, твой труд и твою стойкость. Я знаю, что ты не можешь мириться со злыми людьми; ты проверил тех, кто выдает себя за апостолов, и нашел, что они лжецы.

and endurest, and hast borne for my name's sake, and hast not wearied:

Я знаю, что ты стоек, что ради Моего имени перенес трудности и не изнемог.

but I have against thee, that thou hast left thy first love.

Но у Меня есть нечто против тебя: ты оставил свою первую любовь.

Remember therefore whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works: but if not, I am coming to thee, and I will remove thy lamp out of its place, except thou shalt repent.

Вспомни высоту, с которой ты упал! Раскайся и твори дела, которые ты делал прежде. Если ты не раскаешься, то Я приду к тебе и уберу твой светильник с его места.

But this thou hast, that thou hatest the works of the Nicolaitanes, which *I* also hate.

Однако ты правильно делаешь, что ненавидишь дела николаитов,16 которые и Я ненавижу.

He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. To him that overcomes, I will give to him to eat of the tree of life which is in the paradise of God.

У кого есть уши, пусть услышит, что Дух говорит церквам. Побеждающему Я дам право есть плоды с дерева жизни, которое растет в Божьем рае!»

Message to the Church in Smyrna

And to the angel of the assembly in Smyrna write: These things says the first and the last, who became dead, and lived:

— Ангелу церкви в Смирне напиши:
«Так говорит Первый и Последний, Тот, Кто умер и вернулся к жизни:

I know thy tribulation and thy poverty; but thou art rich; and the railing of those who say that they themselves are Jews, and are not, but a synagogue of Satan.

Я знаю твои страдания и твою бедность, впрочем, ты богат! Я знаю, как тебя чернят те, кто называет себя иудеями, но которые на самом деле не что иное, как собрание сатанинское.

10

Fear nothing [of] what thou art about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to cast of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days. Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give to thee the crown of life.

Не бойся предстоящих страданий. Некоторых из вас дьявол заключит в темницу, чтобы испытать вас, и вы десять дней будете терпеть страдания. Но оставайся верным даже до смерти, и Я дам тебе венец жизни.

He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. He that overcomes shall in no wise be injured of the second death.

У кого есть уши, пусть услышит, что Дух говорит церквам. Побеждающему вторая смерть17 не причинит вреда!»

Message to the Church in Pergamum

And to the angel of the assembly in Pergamos write: These things says he that has the sharp two-edged sword:

— Ангелу церкви в Пергаме напиши:
«Так говорит Обладатель обоюдоострого меча18:

13

I know where thou dwellest, where the throne of Satan [is]; and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in the days in which Antipas my faithful witness [was], who was slain among you, where Satan dwells.

Я знаю, что ты живешь там, где трон сатаны.19 Но, невзирая на это, ты верен Моему имени. Ты не отрекся от веры в Меня даже в те дни, когда Мой верный свидетель Антипа был убит в твоем городе, где живет сатана.

14

But I have a few things against thee: that thou hast there those who hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balak to cast a snare before the sons of Israel, to eat [of] idol sacrifices and commit fornication.

Тем не менее, Мне есть что сказать против тебя: там у тебя есть люди, следующие учению Валаама, который научил в свое время царя Валака тому, как можно спровоцировать народ Израиля на грех, побудив их есть пищу, принесенную в жертву идолам, и жить развратной жизнью.20

So thou also hast those who hold the doctrine of Nicolaitanes in like manner.

Так и у тебя тоже есть приверженцы учения николаитов.

16

Repent therefore: but if not, I come to thee quickly, and I will make war with them with the sword of my mouth.

Покайся! Иначе Я скоро приду к тебе и сражусь с ними мечом, выходящим из Моего рта!

He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. To him that overcomes, to him will I give of the hidden manna; and I will give to him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written, which no one knows but he that receives [it].

У кого есть уши, пусть услышит, что Дух говорит церквам. Побеждающего Я угощу сокровенной манной21 и дам ему белый камень,22 на котором написано его новое имя, и это имя будет знать только тот, кто его получит!»

Message to the Church in Thyatira

And to the angel of the assembly in Thyatira write: These things says the Son of God, he that has his eyes as a flame of fire, and his feet [are] like fine brass:

— Ангелу церкви в Фиатире напиши:
«Так говорит Сын Божий, глаза Которого подобны пылающему огню, и ноги Которого сверкают, как отполированная бронза:

19

I know thy works, and love, and faith, and service, and thine endurance, and thy last works [to be] more than the first.

Я знаю твои дела, твою любовь, веру, твое служение и терпение. Я знаю, что твои последние дела более велики, чем первые.

20

But I have against thee that thou permittest the woman Jezebel, she who calls herself prophetess, and she teaches and leads astray my servants to commit fornication and eat of idol sacrifices.

Тем не менее, вот что Я скажу против тебя: ты терпишь женщину по имени Иезавель,23 которая называет себя пророчицей. Она своим учением вводит в заблуждение Моих слуг и толкает их к тому, чтобы они занимались развратом и ели пищу, принесенную в жертву идолам.

21

And I gave her time that she should repent, and she will not repent of her fornication.

Я дал ей время покаяться, но она не хочет раскаяться в своем разврате.

22

Behold, I cast her into a bed, and those that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of her works,

Поэтому Я брошу ее на ложе, а тех, кто с ней занимается развратом, ввергну в великую скорбь, если не раскаются в том, что пошли ее путем.

and her children will I kill with death; and all the assemblies shall know that *I* am he that searches [the] reins and [the] hearts; and I will give to you each according to your works.

Я поражу ее детей смертью, и все церкви узнают, что Я испытываю сердца и мысли человека, и каждый из вас получит по своим делам.

24

But to you I say, the rest who [are] in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, who have not known the depths of Satan, as they say, I do not cast upon you any other burden;

Говорю всем остальным в Фиатире, кто не следует ее учению и не узнал так называемых „глубин сатанинских“: больше Я не буду обременять вас ничем,

25

but what ye have hold fast till I shall come.

25

но будьте верны тому, что у вас есть, до тех пор, пока Я не приду.

26

And he that overcomes, and he that keeps unto the end my works, to him will I give authority over the nations,

Побеждающему и исполняющему Мою волю до конца Я дам власть над народами,24

27

and he shall shepherd them with an iron rod; as vessels of pottery are they broken in pieces, as I also have received from my Father;
