And Jephthah came to Mizpah to his house, and behold, his daughter came out to meet him with tambours and with dances; and she was an only child: besides her he had neither son nor daughter.

And Jephthah came to Mizpeh unto his house, and, behold, his daughter came out to meet him with timbrels and with dances: and she was his only child; beside her he had neither son nor daughter.

Jephthah’s Daughter
When Jephthah came to his house at Mizpah, there was his daughter, coming out to meet him with timbrels and dancing; and she was his only child. Besides her he had neither son nor daughter. -

И пришёл Иеффай в Массифу в дом свой, и вот, дочь его выходит навстречу ему с тимпанами и ликами: она была у него только одна, и не было у него ещё ни сына, ни дочери.

Когда Иеффай вернулся к себе домой в Мицпу, то кому же и было выйти ему навстречу, как не его дочери, танцующей под звуки бубнов! Она была его единственным ребенком. Кроме нее, у него не было больше ни сына, ни дочери.

І прийшов Єфта до Масифи, до свого дому, і ось його дочка вийшла йому назустріч з тимпанами і хорами, а вона — його улюблена, єдина, і не було в нього сина чи дочки, — тільки вона.
