But his wife said to him, If Jehovah were pleased to kill us, he would not have received a burnt-offering and an oblation at our hands, neither would he have shewed us all these things, nor would he at this time have told us [such things] as these.
-
But his wife said unto him, If the LORD were pleased to kill us, he would not have received a burnt offering and a meat offering at our hands, neither would he have shewed us all these things, nor would as at this time have told us such things as these.

But his wife said to him, “If the Lord had desired to kill us, He would not have accepted a burnt offering and a grain offering from our hands, nor would He have shown us all these things, nor would He have told us such things as these at this time.”

Жена его сказала ему: если бы Господь хотел умертвить нас, то не принял бы от рук наших всесожжения и хлебного приношения, и не показал бы нам всего того, и теперь не открыл бы нам сего.

А жінка йому: “Якби Господь хотів нас умертвити не прийняв би з рук наших усепалення й офіри, та й не дав би нам усього цього бачити й не дав би нам сьогодні таке почути.”

Жінка ж його відказала йому: Коли б Господь хотїв нас умертвити, не прийняв би од нас усепалення і хлїбної жертви, та й не дав би нам усього сього вбачити, анї обявив того, що має бути. -
І сказала йому жінка його: „Коли б Господь хотів був повбивати нас, не взяв би з нашої руки цілопа́лення та хлібної жертви, і не дав би нам побачити всього цьо́го, і не об'явив би нам цього ча́су речі, як це“.

Но его жена ответила:
— Если бы Господь хотел нам смерти, Он не принял бы из наших рук всесожжения и хлебного приношения и не возвестил бы нам сейчас всего этого. -
Та його жінка сказала йому: Якщо Господь бажав би вбити нас, то не прийняв би з наших рук всепалення та жертву, і не просвітив би нас цим усім, і не сказав би нам цього.
