But he turned from the graven images that were by Gilgal, and said, I have a secret word unto thee, O king. And he said, Be silent! And all that stood by him went out from him.

But he himself turned again from the quarries that were by Gilgal, and said, I have a secret errand unto thee, O king: who said, Keep silence. And all that stood by him went out from him.

But on reaching the stone images near Gilgal he himself went back to Eglon and said, “Your Majesty, I have a secret message for you.”
The king said to his attendants, “Leave us!” And they all left. -

But when Ehud reached the stone idols near Gilgal, he turned back. He came to Eglon and said, “I have a secret message for you.”
So the king commanded his servants, “Be quiet!” and he sent them all out of the room. -
то сам возвратился от истуканов, которые в Галгале, и сказал: у меня есть тайное слово до тебя, царь. Он сказал: тише! И вышли от него все стоявшие при нём.

а сам повернувсь назад від каменоломів, що біля Гілгалу, та й каже: “Є в мене до тебе, царю, таємне слово.” Той повелів: “Цитьте!” І вийшли всі від нього, що стояли коло нього.

Сам же вернувсь до виструганих ідолів у Галгалї і звелїв сказати Еглонові: Є в мене таємне слово до тебе, царю. Той повелїв: Тихо! і вийшли геть усї, що стояли кругом. -
А він вернувся від бовва́нів, що при Ґілгалі, та й сказав: „У мене таємна справа до тебе, о ца́рю!“ А той сказав: „Тихо!“ І вийшли від нього всі, хто стояв при ньо́му.

Но сам он повернул назад у идолов, что близ Гилгала, и сказал:
— О царь, у меня есть для тебя тайная весть.
Царь сказал22:
— Тише! — и все его слуги удалились. -
а Еґлон повернувся від ідолів, що біля Ґалґала. І сказав Аод: У мене — таємне слово до тебе, царю! І Еґлом сказав усім: Геть! І вийшли від нього всі, хто стояв біля нього.
