And Saul said, They have brought them from the Amalekites, because the people spared the best of the sheep and of the oxen, to sacrifice to Jehovah thy God; and the rest we have utterly destroyed.

And Saul said, They have brought them from the Amalekites: for the people spared the best of the sheep and of the oxen, to sacrifice unto the LORD thy God; and the rest we have utterly destroyed.

And Saul said, “They have brought them from the Amalekites; for the people spared the best of the sheep and the oxen, to sacrifice to the Lord your God; and the rest we have utterly destroyed.”

Saul answered, “The soldiers brought them from the Amalekites; they spared the best of the sheep and cattle to sacrifice to the Lord your God, but we totally destroyed the rest.” -

“It’s true that the army spared the best of the sheep, goats, and cattle,” Saul admitted. “But they are going to sacrifice them to the LORD your God. We have destroyed everything else.”

И сказал Саул: привели их от Амалика, так как народ пощадил лучших из овец и волов для жертвоприношения Господу, Богу твоему; прочее же мы истребили.

Саул відповів: «їх пригнали від амалекитян, бо народ ощадив найкращих овець І худобу, щоб принести в жертву Господеві, Богові твоєму, а що зосталось, ми вигубили як прокляте.»

І відказав Саул: Женуть їх від Амалекіїв додому, бо люд ощадив лучші вівцї й корови, щоб їх в жертву принести Господеві, Богу твойму; на все ж инше розпростерли ми проклін. -
І сказав Саул: „Від Амаликитянина привели́ їх, бо народ змилосе́рдився над найліпшим із худоби дрібно́ї та з худоби великої, щоб зарізати в жертву для Господа, Бога твого, а позостале вчинили закляттям“.

Саул ответил:
— Воины привели их от амаликитян. Они пощадили лучших овец и волов, чтобы принести их в жертву Господу, твоему Богу, но все остальное мы полностью уничтожили. -
А Саул відповів: Я ось це привів від Амалика… те, що залишив народ, — найсильніше з отари і волів, щоб принести в жертву Господу, твоєму Богові, а решту я вигубив.
