And Ahimelech answered the king and said, And who is so faithful among all thy servants as David, who is the king's son-in-law, and has access to thy secret council, and is honourable in thy house?

Then Ahimelech answered the king, and said, And who is so faithful among all thy servants as David, which is the king's son in law, and goeth at thy bidding, and is honourable in thine house?

So Ahimelech answered the king and said, “And who among all your servants is as faithful as David, who is the king’s son-in-law, who goes at your bidding, and is honorable in your house?

Ahimelek answered the king, “Who of all your servants is as loyal as David, the king’s son-in-law, captain of your bodyguard and highly respected in your household? -

Then Ahimelech answered the king and said, “And who among all your servants is as faithful as David, even the king’s son-in-law, who is captain over your guard, and is honored in your house? -
“But sir,” Ahimelech replied, “is anyone among all your servants as faithful as David, your son-in-law? Why, he is the captain of your bodyguard and a highly honored member of your household!

И отвечал Ахимелех царю и сказал: кто из всех рабов твоих верен, как Давид? он и зять царя, и исполнитель повелений твоих, и почтён в доме твоём.

Ахімелех відповів цареві, мовивши: «Хто ж між усіма слугами твоїми, як Давид: вірний, зять царський, начальник твоєї сторожі і поважаний у твоїм домі?

І відказав Ахимелех цареві: Хто ж між усїма твоїми слугами так вірен, як Давид? Він же й царський зять, і повнить прикази твої, а в дому твойму в повазї. -
І відповів Ахімеле́х цареві та й сказав: „А хто серед усіх рабів твоїх вірний, як Давид, царів зять, і має при́ступ до тайної ради, і шанований у твоєму домі?

Ахимелех ответил царю:
— Кто из всех твоих слуг так верен тебе, как Давид, который и зять царя, и начальник над95 твоей стражей, и высоко почитаем в твоем доме? -
А він відповів цареві й сказав: А між усіма твоїми слугами, хто такий вірний, як Давид? І зять царя, і виконавець кожного твого наказу, і славний у твоєму домі!
