But David's men said to him, Behold, we are afraid here in Judah; how much more then if we go to Keilah against the armies of the Philistines?

And David's men said unto him, Behold, we be afraid here in Judah: how much more then if we come to Keilah against the armies of the Philistines?

But David’s men said to him, “Look, we are afraid here in Judah. How much more then if we go to Keilah against the armies of the Philistines?”

Но бывшие с Давидом сказали ему: вот, мы боимся здесь в Иудее, как же нам идти в Кеиль против ополчений Филистимских?

Однак люди Давидові йому сказали: «Ось ми вже тут, в Юдеї, тремтимо зо страху, а що ж то буде, коли підемо на Кеїлу, на військо філістимлян?»

Давидові ж люде спротивились йому: чи ми ж тут в Юдеї не тремтимо з ляку? ато б ще нам ійти на військо Филистіїв! -
А Давидові люди сказали до нього: „Ось ми боїмо́ся тут у Юді, а що ж буде, коли пі́демо в Кеїлу, проти филистимських лав?“

Но люди Давида сказали ему:
— Мы боимся даже здесь, в Иудее. Что же будет, если мы двинемся в Кеилу против войск филистимлян! -
І сказали йому мужі Давида: Ось ми тут в Юдеї боїмося, і як буде, коли підемо до Кеїли? Чи вийдемо за здобиччю филистимців?
