And Samuel said to Saul, Why hast thou disquieted me, to bring me up? And Saul said, I am sore distressed; for the Philistines make war against me, and God is departed from me, and answers me no more, neither by prophets nor by dreams; therefore I have called thee, that thou mayest make known to me what I shall do.

And Samuel said to Saul, Why hast thou disquieted me, to bring me up? And Saul answered, I am sore distressed; for the Philistines make war against me, and God is departed from me, and answereth me no more, neither by prophets, nor by dreams: therefore I have called thee, that thou mayest make known unto me what I shall do.

Now Samuel said to Saul, “Why have you disturbed me by bringing me up?”
And Saul answered, “I am deeply distressed; for the Philistines make war against me, and God has departed from me and does not answer me anymore, neither by prophets nor by dreams. Therefore I have called you, that you may reveal to me what I should do.” -

Samuel said to Saul, “Why have you disturbed me by bringing me up?”
“I am in great distress,” Saul said. “The Philistines are fighting against me, and God has departed from me. He no longer answers me, either by prophets or by dreams. So I have called on you to tell me what to do.” -

Then Samuel said to Saul, “Why have you disturbed me by bringing me up?” Saul answered, “I am in great distress, for the Philistines are warring against me, and God has turned away from me and answers me no more, either by prophets or by dreams. “Why have you disturbed me by calling me back?” Samuel asked Saul.
“Because I am in deep trouble,” Saul replied. “The Philistines are at war with me, and God has left me and won’t reply by prophets or dreams. So I have called for you to tell me what to do.” -
И сказал Самуил Саулу: для чего ты тревожишь меня, чтобы я вышел? И отвечал Саул: тяжело мне очень; Филистимляне воюют против меня, а Бог отступил от меня и более не отвечает мне ни через пророков, ни во сне, потому я вызвал тебя, чтобы ты научил меня, что мне делать.

І Самуїл промовив до Саула: «Чого мене тривожиш? Навіщо викликав мене?» Саул відповів: «Дуже мені скрутно: філістимляни воюють на мене, а Бог відступився від мене й не відповідає мені більше ні через пророків, ні в снах; от я й викликав тебе, щоб ти мене навчив, що мені чинити.»

І промовив Самуїл до Саула: На що трівожиш мене? На що викликав мене? І відказав Саул: Я в великій тїснотї, оце бо Филистії воюють проти мене, а Бог відступив од мене і не відказує вже менї нї через пророки, нї через сон; от я й звелїв тебе викликати, щоб навчив мене, що менї чинити. -
І сказав Самуїл до Саула: „На́що ти непоко́їш мене, мене викликаючи?“ А Саул сказав: „Дуже тяжко мені, — филисти́мляни воюють зо мною, а Бог відступився від мене, і не відповідає мені вже ані через пророків, ані в снах. І покликав я тебе, щоб ти навчив мене, що́ я маю робити“.

Самуил сказал Саулу:
— Зачем ты тревожишь меня? Зачем вызываешь?
— Я в большой беде, — сказал Саул. — Филистимляне воюют со мной, а Бог от меня отвернулся. Он больше не отвечает мне ни через пророков, ни в сновидениях. Поэтому-то я и позвал тебя, чтобы ты сказал мне, что мне делать. -
Самуїл же сказав: Навіщо ти мене потурбував, щоб я прийшов? А Саул відповів: Я сильно пригнічений, і филистимці воюють проти мене, а Бог від мене відступив і мене більше не вислухав ні через пророків, ні в снах. Тож тепер я тебе покликав, щоб пізнати, що чинити.
