But they said, “Stand back!” And they said, “This fellow came to sojourn, and he has become the judge! Now we will deal worse with you than with them.” Then they pressed hard against the man Lot, and drew near to break the door down.

And they said, Stand back. And they said again, This one fellow came in to sojourn, and he will needs be a judge: now will we deal worse with thee, than with them. And they pressed sore upon the man, even Lot, and came near to break the door.

“Get out of our way,” they replied. “This fellow came here as a foreigner, and now he wants to play the judge! We’ll treat you worse than them.” They kept bringing pressure on Lot and moved forward to break down the door. -

But they said, “Stand aside.” Furthermore, they said, “This one came in as an alien, and already he is acting like a judge; now we will treat you worse than them.” So they pressed hard against Lot and came near to break the door. -
“Stand back!” they shouted. “This fellow came to town as an outsider, and now he’s acting like our judge! We’ll treat you far worse than those other men!” And they lunged toward Lot to break down the door.

Но они сказали ему: пойди сюда. И сказали: вот пришлец, и хочет судить? теперь мы хуже поступим с тобою, нежели с ними. И очень приступали к человеку сему, к Лоту, и подошли, чтобы выломать дверь.

А ці відказали: "Геть звідсіля! Прийшов не знати звідки, щоб жити, як чужинець, і хоче суд судити. Ось і навчимо тебе більше, ніж їх!" І стали налягати вельми на чоловіка, себто на Лота, і підступили, щоб висадити двері.

Вони ж кажуть йому: Геть із відсї! Прийшов сюди жити, та хочеш і суд судити. Ось ми ж навчимо тебе, ще лучче, нїж їх. І насильствовали чоловіка того, Лота, вельми, і підступили розбити двері. -
А вони закричали: „Іди собі геть!“ І сказали: „Цей один був прийшов, щоб пожити чужинцем, а він став тут суддею! Тепер ми зло гірше тобі заподієм, ніж їм!“ І сильно вони налягали на мужа, на Лота, і підійшли, щоб висадити двері.

Они ответили:
— Прочь с дороги!
И сказали:
— Этот человек пришел сюда как чужеземец, а теперь хочет быть нам судьей! Мы поступим с тобой еще хуже, чем с ними.
Они стали оттеснять Лота и подошли, чтобы выломать дверь. -
Ті ж сказали: Відійди геть! Сам ти прийшов сюди жити, а не чинити суд. Тож тепер тобі більше зла заподіємо, ніж їм. Вони сильно налягали на чоловіка — Лота; і підступили, щоб вибити двері.
