  • Adam’s Descendants to Noah

    This is the book of the generations of Adam. When God created man, he made him in the likeness of God.
  • The Family of Adam

    This is the book of the genealogy of Adam. In the day that God created man, He made him in the likeness of God.
  • Male and female he created them, and he blessed them and named them Mana when they were created.
  • He created them male and female, and blessed them and called them Mankind in the day they were created.
  • When Adam had lived 130 years, he fathered a son in his own likeness, after his image, and named him Seth.
  • And Adam lived one hundred and thirty years, and begot a son in his own likeness, after his image, and named him Seth.
  • The days of Adam after he fathered Seth were 800 years; and he had other sons and daughters.
  • After he begot Seth, the days of Adam were eight hundred years; and he had sons and daughters.
  • Thus all the days that Adam lived were 930 years, and he died.
  • So all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years; and he died.
  • When Seth had lived 105 years, he fathered Enosh.

  • And he called his name Noah,[b] saying, “This one will comfort us concerning our work and the toil of our hands, because of the ground which the Lord has cursed.”
  • Lamech lived after he fathered Noah 595 years and had other sons and daughters.
  • After he begot Noah, Lamech lived five hundred and ninety-five years, and had sons and daughters.
  • Thus all the days of Lamech were 777 years, and he died.
  • So all the days of Lamech were seven hundred and seventy-seven years; and he died.
  • After Noah was 500 years old, Noah fathered Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
  • And Noah was five hundred years old, and Noah begot Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
