And he said to her, “Because I spoke to Naboth the Jezreelite and said to him, ‘Give me your vineyard for money, or else, if it please you, I will give you another vineyard for it.’ And he answered, ‘I will not give you my vineyard.’”

And he said unto her, Because I spake unto Naboth the Jezreelite, and said unto him, Give me thy vineyard for money; or else, if it please thee, I will give thee another vineyard for it: and he answered, I will not give thee my vineyard.

— Потому что я сказал Навоту из Изрееля: «Продай мне виноградник, или, если хочешь, я дам тебе вместо него другой». А он сказал: «Я не отдам тебе виноградник». -
Бо в цей час вранці пришлю до тебе моїх слуг, і обшукаю твій дім і доми твоїх слуг, і буде: те, що приємне їхнім очам, на що тільки покладуть свої руки, те вони і візьмуть!
