Then Queen Esther answered, “If I have found favor in your sight, O king, and if it please the king, let my life be granted me for my wish, and my people for my request.

Then Esther the queen answered and said, If I have found favour in thy sight, O king, and if it please the king, let my life be given me at my petition, and my people at my request:

І відповіла́ цариця Есте́р та й сказала: „Якщо знайшла́ я ласку в оча́х твоїх, о ца́рю, і якщо це царе́ві вгодне, нехай бу́де да́не мені життя моє на жада́ння моє, а наро́д мій — на проха́ння моє!

И царица Есфирь ответила:
— О царь, если я нашла у тебя расположение и если это угодно царю, то даруй мне жизнь — вот чего я хочу. И пощади мой народ — вот моя просьба. -
