The Lord Proclaims Judgment
Therefore thus says the Lord, the God of hosts:
“Because you have spoken this word,
behold, I am making my words in your mouth a fire,
and this people wood, and the fire shall consume them.

Judgment Proclaimed
Wherefore thus saith the LORD God of hosts, Because ye speak this word, behold, I will make my words in thy mouth fire, and this people wood, and it shall devour them. -
Therefore thus says the Lord God of hosts:
“Because you speak this word,
Behold, I will make My words in your mouth fire,
And this people wood,
And it shall devour them. -

“Because the people have spoken these words,
I will make my words in your mouth a fire
and these people the wood it consumes. -

Therefore, this is what the LORD God of Heaven’s Armies says:
“Because the people are talking like this,
my messages will flame out of your mouth
and burn the people like kindling wood. -

Посему так говорит Господь Бог Саваоф: за то, что вы говорите такие слова, вот, Я сделаю слова Мои в устах твоих огнём, а этот народ — дровами, и этот огонь пожрёт их.

Тому Господь сил так говорить: «За те, що висказуєте такі речі, я зроблю слова мої вогнем в устах у тебе, а народ цей — дровами, і він пожре їх.

Тому́ вирікає отак Господь Бог Савао́т: За те, що гово́рите слово таке́, ось Я в у́ста твої вкладу слово Своє за огонь, а наро́д цей — то дро́ва, — і він пожере́ їх!

Поэтому так говорит Господь, Бог Сил:
— За эти слова, сказанные ими,
Я вложу Мои слова в твои уста, как пламя,
а этот народ станет дровами, и его пожрет это пламя. -
Через це так говорить Господь Вседержитель: Оскільки ви сказали це слово, то ось Я вклав Мої слова у твої уста як вогонь, а цей народ — дрова, і він їх пожере!
