Where is the lions’ den,
the feeding place of the young lions,
where the lion and lioness went,
where his cubs were, with none to disturb?

Where is the dwelling of the lions, and the feedingplace of the young lions, where the lion, even the old lion, walked, and the lion's whelp, and none made them afraid?

Where is the dwelling of the lions,
And the feeding place of the young lions,
Where the lion walked, the lioness and lion’s cub,
And no one made them afraid? -

Where now is that great Nineveh,
that den filled with young lions?
It was a place where people — like lions and their cubs —

Зни́щення та зруйнува́ння й спусто́шення буде. І серце розто́питься, і но́ги дрижа́тимуть, і ко́рчі по кри́жах усіх, а обличчя їх всіх на черво́но розпа́ляться.

Где же теперь Ниневия , что была как логово львов,
как место, где выкармливают своих львят,
по которому бродили лев, львица и львенок,
и ничто их не пугало? -
Тремтіння і трясіння, тремтіння і зламування серця і колін ослаблення, і болі по всіх стегнах, і обличчя всіх, як сажа котла.
