For thus saith the LORD of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.

For this is what the Lord Almighty says: “After the Glorious One has sent me against the nations that have plundered you — for whoever touches you touches the apple of his eye — -

І сказав він до нього: „Біжи, говори цьому юнако́ві, кажучи: Невкрі́плений буде Єрусалим через многість людей та худоби в сере́дині його.

Ведь так сказал Господь Сил:
— Он прославил Меня и послал10 на народы, которые вас обирали, потому что, кто прикасается к вам, тот касается зеницы Моего ока.11 -
і сказав йому, промовляючи: Побіжи і скажи тому юнакові, мовлячи: Густо заселеним буде Єрусалим безліччю людей і худоби посеред нього!
