And this is the manner of the release: every creditor shall release what he has lent to his neighbor. He shall not exact it of his neighbor, his brother, because the Lord’s release has been proclaimed.

This is how it is to be done: Every creditor shall cancel any loan they have made to a fellow Israelite. They shall not require payment from anyone among their own people, because the Lord’s time for canceling debts has been proclaimed. -

This is how it must be done. Everyone must cancel the loans they have made to their fellow Israelites. They must not demand payment from their neighbors or relatives, for the LORD’s time of release has arrived.

А відпуст полягає ось у чому: кожен, хто позичив своєму ближньому, подарує йому свою позику; не буде вимагати її від свого ближнього, ані від свого брата, відколи об'явлено відпуст на честь Господа.

А оце те відпу́щення: кожен позикодавець, що позичає своєму ближньому, не буде натиска́ти на свого ближнього та на брата свого, бо оголошено відпу́щення ради Господа.

Вот как это следует делать: каждый заимодавец пусть простит долг, который он дал ближнему. Пусть он не требует уплаты долга со своего друга или брата, потому что провозглашено Господнее время для прощения долгов.

Ось заповідь стосовно прощення: Простиш кожний особистий борг, який винен тобі ближній, і не вимагатимеш його від свого брата, бо оголошено прощення задля Господа, твого Бога.
