Then the five kings of the Amorites, the king of Jerusalem, the king of Hebron, the king of Jarmuth, the king of Lachish, and the king of Eglon, gathered their forces and went up with all their armies and encamped against Gibeon and made war against it.

So these five Amorite kings combined their armies for a united attack. They moved all their troops into place and attacked Gibeon.

І вони зібралися, і пішли п'ять аморейських царів: цар єрусалимський, цар хевронський, цар ярмутський, цар лахіський, цар еґлонський, вони та всі табо́ри їхні, і розтаборува́лися при Ґів'оні, і воювали проти них.

Пять аморрейских царей — цари Иерусалима, Хеврона, Ярмута, Лахиша и Эглона — объединили силы. Они вышли со всеми своими воинами, расположились лагерем напротив Гаваона и напали на него.
