And God said unto Abraham, Let it not be grievous in thy sight because of the lad, and because of thy bondwoman; in all that Sarah hath said unto thee, hearken unto her voice; for in Isaac shall thy seed be called.

But God said to Abraham, “Do not let it be displeasing in your sight because of the lad or because of your bondwoman. Whatever Sarah has said to you, listen to her voice; for in Isaac your seed shall be called.

— Не огорчайся из-за мальчика и рабыни. Послушайся Сарры и сделай все, как она говорит, потому что через Исаака ты будешь иметь семя, которое Я тебе обещал. -
та Бог сказав Авраамові: Нехай рішення стосовно дитини і рабині не здається тобі жорстоким. Усе, що скаже тобі Сарра, — послухай її голосу, бо в Ісаакові назветься твоє потомство.
