And the king said, And where is thy master's son? And Ziba said unto the king, Behold, he abideth at Jerusalem: for he said, To day shall the house of Israel restore me the kingdom of my father.

Then the king said, “And where is your master’s son?”
And Ziba said to the king, “Indeed he is staying in Jerusalem, for he said, ‘Today the house of Israel will restore the kingdom of my father to me.’ ” -

The king then asked, “Where is your master’s grandson?”
Ziba said to him, “He is staying in Jerusalem, because he thinks, ‘Today the Israelites will restore to me my grandfather’s kingdom.’ ” -

“He stayed in Jerusalem,” Ziba replied. “He said, ‘Today I will get back the kingdom of my grandfather Saul.’” -

И сказал царь: где сын господина твоего? И отвечал Сива царю: вот, он остался в Иерусалиме и говорит: теперь-то дом Израилев возвратит мне царство отца моего.

І питає цар: “А де ж син твого пана?” Ціва відказав цареві: “Он він зостався в Єрусалимі, бо подумав собі: сьогодні дім Ізраїлів віддасть мені батьківське царство.”

— А где же внук твоего господина?
Цива ответил ему:
— Он сейчас в Иерусалиме, потому что думает: «Сегодня дом Израиля вернет мне царство моего деда». -
Далі цар сказав: Де син твого царя? А Сіва відповів цареві: Ось сидить в Єрусалимі, бо сказав: Сьогодні дім Ізраїля поверне мені царство мого батька!
