Then they said one to another, We do not well: this day is a day of good tidings, and we hold our peace: if we tarry till the morning light, some mischief will come upon us: now therefore come, that we may go and tell the king's household.

И сказали друг другу: не так мы делаем. День сей — день радостной вести, если мы замедлим и будем дожидаться утреннего света, то падёт на нас вина. Пойдём же и уведомим дом царский.

Далі ж кажуть один одному: “Не так ми зробимо! Цей день — день доброї новини. Коли мовчатимемо й чекатимемо, поки розвидниться, нас покарають. Ходімо зараз же й сповістімо про це в царському палаці.”

Далїй же кажуть один одному: Не так ми зробимо: Сей день є дньом доброї вістї. Коли мовчати мем, і до ясного ранку ждати мем, так нас обвинуватять. Пійдїмо ж зараз та з'ясуймо про се в царській палатї. -
І сказали вони один до о́дного: „Неслушно ми ро́бимо. Цей день — він день доброї звістки, а ми мовчимо́. Як ми бу́демо чекати аж до ранішнього сві́тла, то впаде́ на нас провина. А тепер ході́мо, і ввійді́мо й донесі́мо царевому дому!“

Затем они сказали друг другу:
— Мы поступаем неправильно. Это день хороших вестей, а мы держим их при себе. Если мы будем ждать рассвета, нас постигнет кара. Пойдем сейчас же и доложим об этом в царском дворце. -
І сказав кожний своєму ближньому: Не так ми чинимо! Цей день є днем радісної звістки, а ми мовчимо! Якщо чекатимемо аж до світання, то знайдемо беззаконня! Тепер же ходімо, увійдемо і сповістимо в домі царя.
