The Bronze Altar and Molten Sea

Moreover he made an altar of brass, twenty cubits the length thereof, and twenty cubits the breadth thereof, and ten cubits the height thereof.

І зробив мідяний жертівник: двайцять локот завдовжки, й двайцять локот завширшки, а десять локот заввишки.

Also he made a molten sea of ten cubits from brim to brim, round in compass, and five cubits the height thereof; and a line of thirty cubits did compass it round about.

І зробив море вилите, — від краю його до краю його десять локот, — навкруги кругле, заввишки на пять локот; а шнурок на трийцять локот обіймав його навкруги;

And under it was the similitude of oxen, which did compass it round about: ten in a cubit, compassing the sea round about. Two rows of oxen were cast, when it was cast.

І вилиті подоби волів стояли під ним навкруги з усїх боків; на десять локот обступали море навкруги два ряди волів, вилитих суцїльно з ним.

It stood upon twelve oxen, three looking toward the north, and three looking toward the west, and three looking toward the south, and three looking toward the east: and the sea was set above upon them, and all their hinder parts were inward.

Стояло воно на дванайцятьох волах; три глядїли 'д півночі, а три глядїли на захід, і три глядїли на південь, а три глядїли 'д сходові, — а море на їх зверхи; а задами були вони обернені всередину під його.

And the thickness of it was an handbreadth, and the brim of it like the work of the brim of a cup, with flowers of lilies; and it received and held three thousand baths.

Завтовшки було воно на долоню; а краї його вироблені, як краї чаші, були схожі на розцвилу лелїю. В його входилось трохи не три тисячі ведер.

The Ten Lavers, Candlesticks, and Tables

He made also ten lavers, and put five on the right hand, and five on the left, to wash in them: such things as they offered for the burnt offering they washed in them; but the sea was for the priests to wash in.

І зробив десять умивальниць, і поставив пять по правий бік, а пять по лївий, щоб полоскати в їх; — наготоване до всепалення полоскали в їх, а море для сьвященників, щоб вони обмивались у йому.

And he made ten candlesticks of gold according to their form, and set them in the temple, five on the right hand, and five on the left.

І зробив десять золотих сьвічників, як повинно бути, й поставив в храмі пять по правий бік, а пять по лївий.

He made also ten tables, and placed them in the temple, five on the right side, and five on the left. And he made an hundred basons of gold.

І зробив десять столів, і поставив в храмі, пять по правий бік, а пять по лївий, і зробив сто золотих чаш.

The Courts

Furthermore he made the court of the priests, and the great court, and doors for the court, and overlaid the doors of them with brass.

І зробив двір сьвященицький, і двір великий, і ворота в двір, а ворота й завіси до їх оббив міддю.

And he set the sea on the right side of the east end, over against the south.

Море поставив по правому боцї на південний схід.

The Instruments of Brass

And Huram made the pots, and the shovels, and the basons. And Huram finished the work that he was to make for king Solomon for the house of God;

І поробив Гирам миски й лопатки, й чаші, (і кадильницї й ввесь жертовний посуд). І доконав Гирам всю роботу, що її робив для царя Соломона в дом Божий:

To wit, the two pillars, and the pommels, and the chapiters which were on the top of the two pillars, and the two wreaths to cover the two pommels of the chapiters which were on the top of the pillars;

Два стовпи й дві опояски з вінцїв по верхах стовпів, і дві сїтки до прикривання обох опоясок із вінцїв, що зверхи на стовпах.

13

And four hundred pomegranates on the two wreaths; two rows of pomegranates on each wreath, to cover the two pommels of the chapiters which were upon the pillars.

І чотириста гранатових яблок до двох сїток, по два ряди гранатових яблок до кожної сїтки, для прикривання двох опоясок вінцїв, що на стовпах.

He made also bases, and lavers made he upon the bases;

І підніжки поробив він, і вмивальницї поробив на підніжках;

15

One sea, and twelve oxen under it.

15

Одно море та дванайцять волів під ним,

The pots also, and the shovels, and the fleshhooks, and all their instruments, did Huram his father make to king Solomon for the house of the LORD of bright brass.

І миски, й лопатки, й вилки, й ввесь прилад їх поробив Гирам-Абій для царя Соломона в дом Господень із лискучої мідї.

17

In the plain of Jordan did the king cast them, in the clay ground between Succoth and Zeredathah.

В околицї Йорданї виливав їх царь в глинковатій землї, між Сокхотом і Зередою.

18

Thus Solomon made all these vessels in great abundance: for the weight of the brass could not be found out.

І наробив Соломон усього сього посуду велику силу, так що й ваги мідї не знали.

19

The Instruments of Gold

And Solomon made all the vessels that were for the house of God, the golden altar also, and the tables whereon the shewbread was set;

19

І поробив Соломон усяку річ до Божого дому, й золотий жертівник, і столи, що на них хлїби показні,

20

Moreover the candlesticks with their lamps, that they should burn after the manner before the oracle, of pure gold;

20

І сьвічники й лямпи їх із щирого золота, щоб засьвічувати їх, як потрібно було, перед Сьвятим Сьвятих;

21

And the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs, made he of gold, and that perfect gold;

21

І цьвіти до лямп, і щипцї були золоті, усе з щирого золота,

22

And the snuffers, and the basons, and the spoons, and the censers, of pure gold: and the entry of the house, the inner doors thereof for the most holy place, and the doors of the house of the temple, were of gold.

22

І ножі, й кропильницї, й чаші, й лодки з золота найчистїйшого, й двері храму, — двері його в серединї в Сьвяте Сьвятих, і двері храму в сьвятиню — все з золота.
