And when the builders laid the foundation of the temple of the LORD, they set the priests in their apparel with trumpets, and the Levites the sons of Asaph with cymbals, to praise the LORD, after the ordinance of David king of Israel.

When the builders completed the foundation of the LORD’s Temple, the priests put on their robes and took their places to blow their trumpets. And the Levites, descendants of Asaph, clashed their cymbals to praise the LORD, just as King David had prescribed.

А коли клали осно́ву Господнього храму, то поставили облаче́нних священиків із су́рмами, а Левитів, Асафових синів, із цимба́лами, щоб сла́вити Господа за уставом Давида, Ізраїлевого царя.

Когда строители заложили основание дома Господа, священники в своих облачениях и с трубами и левиты (сыновья Асафа) с тарелками заняли свои места, чтобы восславить Господа по наставлениям Давида, царя Израиля.

І заклали основу, щоби будувати Господній дім, і стали священики, одягнені з трубами, і левіти та сини Асафа із цимбалами, щоб оспівувати Господа за настановами Давида, царя Ізраїля;
