Then the king said to the wise men, which knew the times, (for so was the king's manner toward all that knew law and judgment:

И разгневался царь сильно, и ярость его загорелась в нём. И сказал царь мудрецам, знающим прежние времена — ибо дела царя делались пред всеми, знающими закон и права, —

радився про те з мудрецями, що знали бувальщину, бо царські справи викладано перед усіма знавцями закону й права;
