Псальма Давидова. Благослови, душе моя, Господа, і все внутро моє — сьвяте імя його!
Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
Прославляй, душе моя, Господа, і не забудь усї добродїйства його!
Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
Він прощає всї несправедливостї твої, сцїляє всї недуги твої;
Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
Він вибавляє тебе із могили, вінчає тебе ласкою і милосердєм;
Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.
Твою старість добром ситить, молодість твою, як у орла, відновляє.
The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.
Господь творить справедливість і суд усїм поневоленим.
He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.
Він показав дороги свої Мойсейові, а дїла синам Ізраїлевим.
The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.
Господь милосердний і благий, до гнїву повільний, а добротою великий.
He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever.
Не буде вічно карати і по віки памятати.
He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
Не по гріхам нашим дав нам, анї по несправедливостї нашій відплатив нам.
For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.
Бо як високо небо над землею, така велика милість його над тими, що бояться його.
As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.
Як далеко схід від заходу, так віддалив від нас переступи наші.
Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him.
Як батько милосердується над дїтьми, так милосердується Господь над тими, що бояться його.
For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.
Він бо знає постать нашу, памятає, що ми з пороху взялися.
As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.
Чоловік, — як трава днї його, як квітка в полі, так він цвите, відцвитає;
For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.
Понесеться вітер над нею, і вже не стало її, і не знайти більш місця її.
But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children;
Милість Господа од віку до віку над тими, що бояться його, і справедливість його над дїтьми дїтей їх,
To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.
Над тими, що заповіт його хоронять, і про заповідї його памятають, щоб сповняти їх.
The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all.
Господь утвердив престіл свій на небесах, і над усїм володїє царство його.
Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.
Благословіть Господа, ви ангели його, силою потужні, сповнителї слова його, покірні голосові слова його!
Bless ye the LORD, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure.
Благословіть Господа, всї сили його небесні, ви слуги його, сповнителї його благоволення!
