King James Bible

New Living Translation

  • Israel's Kingdom Blessing

    {A Song or Psalm of David.} O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory.
  • A song. A psalm of David.

    My heart is confident in you, O God;
    no wonder I can sing your praises with all my heart!
  • Awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early.
  • Wake up, lyre and harp!
    I will wake the dawn with my song.
  • I will praise thee, O LORD, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations.
  • I will thank you, LORD, among all the people.
    I will sing your praises among the nations.
  • For thy mercy is great above the heavens: and thy truth reacheth unto the clouds.
  • For your unfailing love is higher than the heavens.
    Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds.
  • Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: and thy glory above all the earth;
  • Be exalted, O God, above the highest heavens.
    May your glory shine over all the earth.
  • That thy beloved may be delivered: save with thy right hand, and answer me.
  • Now rescue your beloved people.
    Answer and save us by your power.
  • God hath spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.
  • God has promised this by his holinessa:
    “I will divide up Shechem with joy.
    I will measure out the valley of Succoth.
  • Gilead is mine; Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the strength of mine head; Judah is my lawgiver;
  • Gilead is mine,
    and Manasseh, too.
    Ephraim, my helmet, will produce my warriors,
    and Judah, my scepter, will produce my kings.
  • Moab is my washpot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe; over Philistia will I triumph.
  • But Moab, my washbasin, will become my servant,
    and I will wipe my feet on Edom
    and shout in triumph over Philistia.”
  • Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom?
  • Who will bring me into the fortified city?
    Who will bring me victory over Edom?
  • Wilt not thou, O God, who hast cast us off? and wilt not thou, O God, go forth with our hosts?
  • Have you rejected us, O God?
    Will you no longer march with our armies?
  • Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.
  • Oh, please help us against our enemies,
    for all human help is useless.
  • Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.
  • With God’s help we will do mighty things,
    for he will trample down our foes.
