King James Bible

New Living Translation

  • The Lord Exalts the Humble

    Praise ye the LORD. Praise, O ye servants of the LORD, praise the name of the LORD.
  • Praise the LORD!
    Yes, give praise, O servants of the LORD.
    Praise the name of the LORD!
  • Blessed be the name of the LORD from this time forth and for evermore.
  • Blessed be the name of the LORD
    now and forever.
  • From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the LORD'S name is to be praised.
  • Everywhere — from east to west —
    praise the name of the LORD.
  • The LORD is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens.
  • For the LORD is high above the nations;
    his glory is higher than the heavens.
  • Who is like unto the LORD our God, who dwelleth on high,
  • Who can be compared with the LORD our God,
    who is enthroned on high?
  • Who humbleth himself to behold the things that are in heaven, and in the earth!
  • He stoops to look down
    on heaven and on earth.
  • He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill;
  • He lifts the poor from the dust
    and the needy from the garbage dump.
  • That he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people.
  • He sets them among princes,
    even the princes of his own people!
  • He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the LORD.
  • He gives the childless woman a family,
    making her a happy mother.
    Praise the LORD!
