Псалом Давидів. Господи, кли́чу до Тебе, — поспіши́ся до мене, почуй же мій голос, як кли́чу до Тебе!
Which imagine mischiefs in their heart; continually are they gathered together for war.
Нехай ста́не молитва моя як кади́ло перед лицем Твоїм, підно́шення рук моїх — як жертва вечі́рня!
They have sharpened their tongues like a serpent; adders' poison is under their lips. Selah.
Поклади, Господи, сторо́жу на у́ста мої, стережи́ двері губ моїх!
Keep me, O LORD, from the hands of the wicked; preserve me from the violent man; who have purposed to overthrow my goings.
Не дай нахиля́тися серцю моєму до речі лихо́ї, — щоб учи́нки робити безбо́жністю, із людьми, шо чинять пере́ступ, і щоб не ласува́вся я їхніми присма́ками!
The proud have hid a snare for me, and cords; they have spread a net by the wayside; they have set gins for me. Selah.
Як праведний вра́зить мене, — то це милість, а доко́рить мені, — це оли́ва на го́лову, її не відкине моя голова, бо ще і молитва моя проти їхнього зла.
I said unto the LORD, Thou art my God: hear the voice of my supplications, O LORD.
Їхні су́дді по скелі розки́дані, та слова́ мої вчують, бо приємні вони.
O GOD the Lord, the strength of my salvation, thou hast covered my head in the day of battle.
Як дро́ва руба́ють й розко́люють їх на землі, так розки́дані наші кістки́ над отво́ром шео́лу.
Grant not, O LORD, the desires of the wicked: further not his wicked device; lest they exalt themselves. Selah.
Бо до Тебе, о Господи, Владико, мої очі, на Тебе наді́юсь — не зруйно́вуй мого життя!
As for the head of those that compass me about, let the mischief of their own lips cover them.
Бережи Ти від па́стки мене, що на мене поставили, та від тене́т переступників!
