How thou didst drive out the heathen with thy hand, and plantedst them; how thou didst afflict the people, and cast them out.
Моє серце брини́ть добрим словом, проказую я: Для Царя мої тво́ри, мій язик — мов перо скоропи́сця!
For they got not the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them: but thy right hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst a favour unto them.
Ти кращий від лю́дських синів, в Твоїх устах розлита краса́ та добро́, тому благослови́в Бог навіки Тебе.
Thou art my King, O God: command deliverances for Jacob.
Прив'яжи до стегна́ Свого, Сильний, Свого меча, красу́ Свою́ та вели́чність Свою́,
Through thee will we push down our enemies: through thy name will we tread them under that rise up against us.
і в вели́чності Своїй сідай, та й ве́рхи помчися за справи правди, і ла́гідности та справедливости, — і на́вчить Тебе страшних чинів прави́ця Твоя́!
For I will not trust in my bow, neither shall my sword save me.
Твої стрі́ли наго́стрені, — а від них під Тобою наро́ди попа́дають, — у серце Царськи́х ворогів.
But thou hast saved us from our enemies, and hast put them to shame that hated us.
Престол Твій, о Боже, на вічні віки́, берло правди — берло Царства Твого́.
In God we boast all the day long, and praise thy name for ever. Selah.
Ти полюбив справедливість, а беззако́ння знена́видів, тому́ намасти́в Тебе Бог, Твій Бог, оливою радости понад друзів Твоїх.
But thou hast cast off, and put us to shame; and goest not forth with our armies.
Ми́ро, ало́е й кассі́я — всі ша́ти Твої, а з палат із слоно́вої кости — струни Тебе звесели́ли.
Thou makest us to turn back from the enemy: and they which hate us spoil for themselves.
Серед ска́рбів Твоїх — царські до́чки, по правиці Твоїй стала цариця в офі́рському щирому золоті.
Thou hast given us like sheep appointed for meat; and hast scattered us among the heathen.
Слухай, до́чко, й побач, і нахили своє ухо, — і забудь свій наро́д і дім батька свого́!
Thou sellest thy people for nought, and dost not increase thy wealth by their price.
А Цар буде жадати твоєї краси́, бо Він — твій Госпо́дь, а ти до землі Йому кланяйся.
Thou makest us a reproach to our neighbours, a scorn and a derision to them that are round about us.
А Ти́рська дочка́ прийде з да́ром, будуть благати тебе найбагатші з наро́ду.
Thou makest us a byword among the heathen, a shaking of the head among the people.
Вся оздо́ба царсько́ї дочки́ — усере́дині, шата ж її погапто́вана золотом.
My confusion is continually before me, and the shame of my face hath covered me,
У ша́ти гапто́вані вбрану прова́дять її до Царя, за нею дівча́та, подру́ги її, до Тебе прова́джені.
For the voice of him that reproacheth and blasphemeth; by reason of the enemy and avenger.
Провадять їх з ра́дощами та поті́хою, — у палату царську́ вони ві́йдуть.
All this is come upon us; yet have we not forgotten thee, neither have we dealt falsely in thy covenant.
Замість батькі́в Твоїх бу́дуть сини́ Твої, — їх по ці́лій землі Ти поставиш воло́дарями.
