The Transiency of the Wealth

{To the chief Musician, A Psalm for the sons of Korah.} Hear this, all ye people; give ear, all ye inhabitants of the world:

1

Песнь Асафа Господь, Бог всех богов, заговорил, созывая всех на земле от востока до запада.

Both low and high, rich and poor, together.

С прекрасного Сиона Бог сияет.

My mouth shall speak of wisdom; and the meditation of my heart shall be of understanding.

Грядущий Бог молчать не будет, Он бурей окружён, и пламя перед Ним.

I will incline mine ear to a parable: I will open my dark saying upon the harp.

Взывает к небесам Он и к земле, чтобы суметь судить народ Свой:

Wherefore should I fear in the days of evil, when the iniquity of my heels shall compass me about?

"Придите все, кто в Меня верит, ведь вы со Мной вступили в соглашенье".

They that trust in their wealth, and boast themselves in the multitude of their riches;

None of them can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to God a ransom for him:

"Народ Мой, слушай, буду говорить, против Тебя Я буду говорить, Израиль, ибо Я — Бог, твой Бог.

(For the redemption of their soul is precious, and it ceaseth for ever:)

Не упрекаю тебя ни за жертвы твои, ни за дары сожжённые — всегда они передо Мной.

That he should still live for ever, and not see corruption.

Но мне не нужны быки из вашего стойла, козлы из загона.

10

For he seeth that wise men die, likewise the fool and the brutish person perish, and leave their wealth to others.

Потому что все звери — Мои, и на сотнях холмов Мой скот.

Their inward thought is, that their houses shall continue for ever, and their dwelling places to all generations; they call their lands after their own names.

Я знаю всех птиц в горах, всё живое в поле — Моё.

Nevertheless man being in honour abideth not: he is like the beasts that perish.

Если б голоден был, Я бы вам не сказал, поскольку земля и всё, что есть на ней, — Моё.

This their way is their folly: yet their posterity approve their sayings. Selah.

Разве Я мясо быков ем и пью кровь козлов?

Like sheep they are laid in the grave; death shall feed on them; and the upright shall have dominion over them in the morning; and their beauty shall consume in the grave from their dwelling.

Жертвуйте Мне благодарность и ваших клятв исполненье,

But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave: for he shall receive me. Selah.

зовите Меня в несчастьи, Я спасу, и вы Мне воздадите".

16

Be not thou afraid when one is made rich, when the glory of his house is increased;

Грешным же Он сказал: "Кто положил вам право вещать о Моих законах, твердить о Моих заветах?

For when he dieth he shall carry nothing away: his glory shall not descend after him.

Когда поправляю вас — сердитесь, когда говорю — не слушаете.

Though while he lived he blessed his soul: and men will praise thee, when thou doest well to thyself.

Когда вы видите вора, вы сходитесь с ним, вы жребий тянете вместе с развратником.

19

He shall go to the generation of his fathers; they shall never see light.

Языки ваши злу служат, и ложь на устах у вас.

20

Man that is in honour, and understandeth not, is like the beasts that perish.
