Для дириґента хору. Псалом Давидів. Пісня. Уся земле, — покли́куйте Богові:
Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity:
Тобі, Боже, належиться слава в Сіоні, і Тобі́ має ві́дданий бути обі́т!
Who whet their tongue like a sword, and bend their bows to shoot their arrows, even bitter words:
Ти, що моли́тви вислу́хуєш, всяке тіло до Тебе прихо́дить!
That they may shoot in secret at the perfect: suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not.
Справи грішні зробились сильніші від нас, — Ти наші гріхи пробача́єш!
They encourage themselves in an evil matter: they commune of laying snares privily; they say, Who shall see them?
Блаженний, кого вибираєш Ти та наближа́єш, — в осе́лях Твоїх спочива́ти той буде! наси́тимось ми добром дому Твого́, найсвятішим із храму Твого́!
They search out iniquities; they accomplish a diligent search: both the inward thought of every one of them, and the heart, is deep.
Грізні ре́чі Ти відповіда́єш нам правдою, Боже, Спасителю наш, надіє всіх кі́нців землі та су́щих далеко на морі,
But God shall shoot at them with an arrow; suddenly shall they be wounded.
що гори ставиш Своєю силою, підпере́заний міццю,
So they shall make their own tongue to fall upon themselves: all that see them shall flee away.
що втихоми́рюєш гу́ркіт морів, їхніх хвиль та га́лас наро́дів.
And all men shall fear, and shall declare the work of God; for they shall wisely consider of his doing.
І будуть боятись озна́к Твоїх ме́шканці кі́нців землі. Ти розвеселяєш країну, де вихід пора́нку й де вечір.
