I sink in deep mire, where there is no standing: I am come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me.
Загруз я в глибокому болотї і нема в йому дна; попав на глибину, і бистрінь заливає мене.
I am weary of my crying: my throat is dried: mine eyes fail while I wait for my God.
Я знемігся від поклику, гортань моя висохла; втомились очі мої, визираючи Бога мого.
They that hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of mine head: they that would destroy me, being mine enemies wrongfully, are mighty: then I restored that which I took not away.
Більше ненавидящих мене безвинно, як волосся на голові в мене; потужні мої губителї, що без причини ворогують на мене; чого я не загарбав, те мусїв я дати.
O God, thou knowest my foolishness; and my sins are not hid from thee.
Ти, Боже знаєш мій нерозум, і провини мої не закриті перед тобою.
Let not them that wait on thee, O Lord GOD of hosts, be ashamed for my sake: let not those that seek thee be confounded for my sake, O God of Israel.
Не дай же через мене осоромитись тим, що вповають на тебе, Господи, Боже сил небесних! Не дай осоромитись через мене тим, що шукають тебе, Боже Ізраїля!
Because for thy sake I have borne reproach; shame hath covered my face.
Бо за тебе терплю зневагу, і сором покрив лице моє!
I am become a stranger unto my brethren, and an alien unto my mother's children.
Чужим став я братам моїм, і чужинцем синам матері моєї.
For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up; and the reproaches of them that reproached thee are fallen upon me.
Бо ревність для дому твого ізсушила мене, і зневага тих, що тебе зневажають, впала на мене.
When I wept, and chastened my soul with fasting, that was to my reproach.
Коли я плакав і душа віддалась посту, то й те було менї в наругу.
I made sackcloth also my garment; and I became a proverb to them.
Надїв я волосїнницю, і стався їм приповідкою.
They that sit in the gate speak against me; and I was the song of the drunkards.
Сидячі у воротах мають помовку про мене; складають піснї на підпитку.
But as for me, my prayer is unto thee, O LORD, in an acceptable time: O God, in the multitude of thy mercy hear me, in the truth of thy salvation.
Я ж, Господи, — молитва моя до тебе, в час благоволення твого. Боже, по великостї милосердя твого вислухай мене, по правдї спасення твого!
Deliver me out of the mire, and let me not sink: let me be delivered from them that hate me, and out of the deep waters.
Витягни мене з болота, не дай менї потонути! Дай менї вирятуватись від ненавидників моїх, і з глибинї вод.
Let not the waterflood overflow me, neither let the deep swallow me up, and let not the pit shut her mouth upon me.
Бистрінь водяна нехай не затопить мене, і глибінь не проковтне мене, й яма роззявлена нехай не затулить челюстей своїх.
Hear me, O LORD; for thy lovingkindness is good: turn unto me according to the multitude of thy tender mercies.
Вислухай мене, Господи, велика бо твоя милість; поглянь на мене по великостї милосердя твого.
And hide not thy face from thy servant; for I am in trouble: hear me speedily.
І не одвертай лиця твого від слуги твого, я бо в тїснотї; вислухай мене скоро!
Draw nigh unto my soul, and redeem it: deliver me because of mine enemies.
Приближися до душі моєї, вирятуй її; спаси її задля ворогів моїх!
Thou hast known my reproach, and my shame, and my dishonour: mine adversaries are all before thee.
Ти знаєш мою наругу, і зневагу мою, і сором мій; всї гнобителї мої перед тобою.
Reproach hath broken my heart; and I am full of heaviness: and I looked for some to take pity, but there was none; and for comforters, but I found none.
Від наруги серце мов розбилось, я став вельми нужденний; ждав я милосердя, не дождався, і потїшителїв, та не знайшов нїкого.
They gave me also gall for my meat; and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.
До страви моєї вкинули вони жовч, а прагнущого оцтом мене напували.
Let their table become a snare before them: and that which should have been for their welfare, let it become a trap.
Стіл їх нехай буде сїттю перед ними, і що на благо людям, нехай на петлю їм обернеться.
Let their eyes be darkened, that they see not; and make their loins continually to shake.
Нехай в очах їм почорнїє, щоб не бачили сьвіта, і литки їх нехай їм завсїди трясуться.
Pour out thine indignation upon them, and let thy wrathful anger take hold of them.
Висип на них ярость твою, і поломя гнїву твого нехай обгорне їх!
Let their habitation be desolate; and let none dwell in their tents.
Спустошеннє нехай спаде на оселю їх; в наметах їх щоб не осталось нї одного живого!
For they persecute him whom thou hast smitten; and they talk to the grief of those whom thou hast wounded.
Вони бо знущаються над тим, кого ти покарав, втїшаються болями ранених твоїх.
Add iniquity unto their iniquity: and let them not come into thy righteousness.
Полїчи їм неправду їх до неправди, і не дай їм увійти в правду твою.
Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous.
Нехай вичеркнуться з книги живих, і не будуть записані вкупі з праведними!
But I am poor and sorrowful: let thy salvation, O God, set me up on high.
Я ж бідний і горе менї; спасеннє твоє, Боже, нехай вислобонить мене!
I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving.
Буду прославляти імя Боже піснями, величати його хвалою.
This also shall please the LORD better than an ox or bullock that hath horns and hoofs.
Буде се любійше Господеві над бики, над теля рогате з росколеними ратицями.
The humble shall see this, and be glad: and your heart shall live that seek God.
Побачать впокорені, вони звеселяться; ви, що шукаєте Бога, нехай оживе серце ваше!
For the LORD heareth the poor, and despiseth not his prisoners.
Господь бо слухає бідних, і не одвертаєсь від попавших в неволю.
Let the heaven and earth praise him, the seas, and every thing that moveth therein.
Да восхвалять його небеса і земля, моря і все, що там живе-кишить.
For God will save Zion, and will build the cities of Judah: that they may dwell there, and have it in possession.
Бог бо спасе Сиона, і збудує городи Юдейські; і мати муть там оселю і займаньщину.
