Before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh stir up thy strength, and come and save us.
Радійте в Бозі — нашому захиснику, радісно вигукуйте Богові Якова!
Turn us again, O God, and cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.
Заспівайте псалом, заграйте на тимпані, на милозвучному псалтирі з гуслами.
O LORD God of hosts, how long wilt thou be angry against the prayer of thy people?
Затрубіть при настанні нового місяця в сурму — в знаменний день нашого свята.
Thou feedest them with the bread of tears; and givest them tears to drink in great measure.
Адже це закон для Ізраїля і постанова від Бога Якова.
Thou makest us a strife unto our neighbours: and our enemies laugh among themselves.
Він встановив це як свідчення в Йосифові, коли той виходив з Єгипетської землі. Він почув мову, якої не знав;
Turn us again, O God of hosts, and cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.
Він звільнив його спину від тягарів, — руки його носили кошики.
Thou hast brought a vine out of Egypt: thou hast cast out the heathen, and planted it.
У біді ти закликав до Мене — і Я тебе визволив. Я тебе почув у сховищах бурі, Я тебе випробував при водах нарікання.

Thou preparedst room before it, and didst cause it to take deep root, and it filled the land.
Слухай-но, народе Мій, Я свідчитиму тобі: Ізраїлю, якщо послухаєшся Мене,
The hills were covered with the shadow of it, and the boughs thereof were like the goodly cedars.
в тебе не буде нового бога, — ти не поклонятимешся чужому богові!
She sent out her boughs unto the sea, and her branches unto the river.
Бо Я є твій Господь Бог, Який вивів тебе з Єгипетської землі. Широко відкрий свої уста — і Я наповню їх!
Why hast thou then broken down her hedges, so that all they which pass by the way do pluck her?
Та Мій народ не послухався Мого голосу, — Ізраїль не звернув уваги на Мене.
The boar out of the wood doth waste it, and the wild beast of the field doth devour it.
І Я відпустив їх за бажаннями їхніх сердець; вони житимуть за своїми забаганками.
Return, we beseech thee, O God of hosts: look down from heaven, and behold, and visit this vine;
Якщо би Мій народ послухав Мене, якщо б Ізраїль ходив Моїми дорогами, —
And the vineyard which thy right hand hath planted, and the branch that thou madest strong for thyself.
Я скоро впокорив би їхніх ворогів, — наклав би Мою руку на тих, хто їх пригноблює.
It is burned with fire, it is cut down: they perish at the rebuke of thy countenance.
Ненависники Божі підлещувалися до Нього, а їхній час перебуватиме повік.
