But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.

“Precept upon precept, precept upon precept,
Line upon line, line upon line,
Here a little, there a little,”
That they might go and fall backward, and be broken
And snared and caught. -

a little here, a little there —
so that as they go they will fall backward;

И стало у них словом Господним138:
«Повеление на повеление,
правило на правило;
здесь чуть-чуть, там чуть-чуть»,

попасть в западню и быть схваченными. -
І слово Господа Бога буде їм болем до болю, надією до надії, ще трохи, ще трохи, щоб пішли і впали назад, і будуть у небезпеці, будуть розбиті й будуть захоплені.
