And he hath made my mouth like a sharp sword; in the shadow of his hand hath he hid me, and made me a polished shaft; in his quiver hath he hid me;
Господь язык мой уподобил острому мечу, спрятал меня в ладони Своей. Уподобил меня острой стреле и хранит меня в Своём колчане.
And said unto me, Thou art my servant, O Israel, in whom I will be glorified.
Господь сказал мне: "Ты, Израиль, Мой слуга, Я сотворю с тобою чудо".
Then I said, I have laboured in vain, I have spent my strength for nought, and in vain: yet surely my judgment is with the LORD, and my work with my God.
Ответил я: "Я тяжело трудился, изнашивал себя, но ничего полезного не сделал, я все силы растрачивал, но не добился ничего. Господь решит, что сделает со мною, решит, как наградить меня.
And now, saith the LORD that formed me from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob again to him, Though Israel be not gathered, yet shall I be glorious in the eyes of the LORD, and my God shall be my strength.
Он меня создал в теле матери моей, чтоб мог я быть Его слугою и привести к Нему обратно Иакова и Израиль. Такую честь мне оказал Господь, и от Него я силы получаю".
And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.
Господь мне говорил: "Ты — самый нужный Мой слуга. В неволи народ Израиля, но он ко Мне вернётся, семья Иакова ко Мне придёт. Но у тебя есть дело поважнее, чем это — светом для народов Я сделаю тебя, Моим путём спасения всех людей земли".
Thus saith the LORD, the Redeemer of Israel, and his Holy One, to him whom man despiseth, to him whom the nation abhorreth, to a servant of rulers, Kings shall see and arise, princes also shall worship, because of the LORD that is faithful, and the Holy One of Israel, and he shall choose thee.
Господь, Искупитель и Святой Израиля, говорит: "Покорен Мой слуга, и презирают его люди, он — раб царей, но все цари его увидят и почести окажут, и князья ему поклонятся по воле Господа, Который верен, и Святого Израиля, избравшего его".
The Restoration of Israel
Thus saith the LORD, In an acceptable time have I heard thee, and in a day of salvation have I helped thee: and I will preserve thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, to establish the earth, to cause to inherit the desolate heritages;

Господь говорит: "Настанет время, когда явлю Я доброту Мою, когда отвечу на твои молитвы, день, когда Я тебя спасу, особым будет днём. Я помогу и сберегу тебя, ты станешь свидетельством завета Моего с людьми. Разрушена страна, но ты вернёшь обратно эту землю людям, которые владеют ею.
That thou mayest say to the prisoners, Go forth; to them that are in darkness, Shew yourselves. They shall feed in the ways, and their pastures shall be in all high places.
Ты скажешь узникам: "Выходите из своей темницы!" И скажешь тем, кто в темноте: "Выходите из тьмы!" И будет у людей еда в избытке на пути и даже на холмах бесплодных.
They shall not hunger nor thirst; neither shall the heat nor sun smite them: for he that hath mercy on them shall lead them, even by the springs of water shall he guide them.
Они не будут знать ни голода, ни жажды, ни зной, ни ветер им не повредят, поскольку Бог утешит их и поведёт. Бог поведёт их вдоль ручьёв прохладных.
And I will make all my mountains a way, and my highways shall be exalted.
Я для Моего народа сравняю горы, дороги проведу и подниму.
Behold, these shall come from far: and, lo, these from the north and from the west; and these from the land of Sinim.
Взгляни, ко Мне придёт народ издалека, кто с запада, кто с севера, другие из земли Синим, Египетской земли".
Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for the LORD hath comforted his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted.
Радуйтесь, небеса! Кричите от радости, горы! Ибо Господь утешил Свой народ, Он добр к бедному народу Своему.
But Zion said, The LORD hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me.
А Сион говорит: "Покинул меня Господь, мой Повелитель забыл обо мне".
Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.
Но Я отвечаю: "Может ли женщина забыть ребёнка своего? Забыть того, кто вышел из чрева её? Нет, никогда не может женщина детей своих забыть, и Я, Господь, тебя Я не забуду.
Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.
Я имя твоё написал на руке Своей, Я думаю о Тебе непрестанно.
Thy children shall make haste; thy destroyers and they that made thee waste shall go forth of thee.
Дети твои вернутся к тебе, и победившие тебя не станут более тебя тревожить".
Lift up thine eyes round about, and behold: all these gather themselves together, and come to thee. As I live, saith the LORD, thou shalt surely clothe thee with them all, as with an ornament, and bind them on thee, as a bride doeth.
Оглянись и посмотри вокруг: все твои дети собираются вместе и к тебе идут. Господь говорит: "Жив Я! и Я тебе обещаю, что дети твои станут дорогим убранством, которым ты украсишь шею свою, ожерельем, которое надевает невеста.
For thy waste and thy desolate places, and the land of thy destruction, shall even now be too narrow by reason of the inhabitants, and they that swallowed thee up shall be far away.
Ты уничтожен, побеждён, твоя земля разграблена, но вскоре станет тесной она для возвратившихся твоих детей, а разорители твои все удалятся.
The children which thou shalt have, after thou hast lost the other, shall say again in thine ears, The place is too strait for me: give place to me that I may dwell.
Ты грустил о детях, находящихся вдали, но скажут тебе дети: "Здесь слишком тесно, дай нам ещё земли, чтобы могли мы жить".
Then shalt thou say in thine heart, Who hath begotten me these, seeing I have lost my children, and am desolate, a captive, and removing to and fro? and who hath brought up these? Behold, I was left alone; these, where had they been?
И ты скажешь: "Кто детей мне этих дал? Я был одинок и побеждён, вдали от моего народа, кто же взрастил их, и откуда они ко мне пришли?"
Thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I will lift up mine hand to the Gentiles, and set up my standard to the people: and they shall bring thy sons in their arms, and thy daughters shall be carried upon their shoulders.
Но говорит Господь Всемогущий: "Я взмахну рукою над народами, Я флаг Мой подниму, чтоб было видно всем, и принесут к тебе детей, держа их на руках и на плечах.
And kings shall be thy nursing fathers, and their queens thy nursing mothers: they shall bow down to thee with their face toward the earth, and lick up the dust of thy feet; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD: for they shall not be ashamed that wait for me.
Учителями будут им цари, и будут дочери царей о них заботиться и будут кланяться тебе, целуя пыль у ног твоих, и ты тогда поймёшь, что Я — Господь, и те, кто в Меня верит, не устыдятся".
Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered?
У сильного солдата не забрать добытого в войне богатства, когда он пленных сторожит своих, они не могут убежать.
But thus saith the LORD, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children.
Господь сказал: "Пленённые найдут возможность убежать и будут отняты у сильного солдата. Потому что Я бороться буду за тебя, и Я детей твоих спасу.
And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.
Твои враги вред нанесли тебе, но Я заставлю их упиться их же кровью до опьянения и есть свою же плоть, и все узнают, что тебя Господь спас, Всемогущий Бог Иакова".
