Assyrian Invasion Prophesied

Moreover the LORD said unto me, Take thee a great roll, and write in it with a man's pen concerning Mahershalalhashbaz.

Господь сказал: "Возьми большой свиток и напиши пером: магер-шелал-хаш-баз".

And I took unto me faithful witnesses to record, Uriah the priest, and Zechariah the son of Jeberechiah.

Я созвал людей, которые достойны быть свидетелями: священника Урию и Захария, сына Варахиина. Они видели, когда я писал всё это.

And I went unto the prophetess; and she conceived, and bare a son. Then said the LORD to me, Call his name Mahershalalhashbaz.

И я пошёл к пророчице и был с ней, и она родила сына. И Господь сказал мне: "Назови сына Магер-шелал-хаш-баз".

4

For before the child shall have knowledge to cry, My father, and my mother, the riches of Damascus and the spoil of Samaria shall be taken away before the king of Assyria.

Ибо прежде, чем мальчик научится говорить "мать и отец", Бог заберёт все богатства Дамаска и Самарии и отдаст их царю Ассирийскому.

The LORD spake also unto me again, saying,

Господь продолжал говорить со мной:

Forasmuch as this people refuseth the waters of Shiloah that go softly, and rejoice in Rezin and Remaliah's son;

"Этот народ отказался от медленных вод Силоама, они счастливы с Рецином и сыном Ремалиина,

7

Now therefore, behold, the Lord bringeth up upon them the waters of the river, strong and many, even the king of Assyria, and all his glory: and he shall come up over all his channels, and go over all his banks:

7

но Я, Господь, приведу царя Ассирии и всю его силу против тебя, и придут они, как наводнение Евфрата, поднимающееся выше речных берегов.

8

And he shall pass through Judah; he shall overflow and go over, he shall reach even to the neck; and the stretching out of his wings shall fill the breadth of thy land, O Immanuel.

Эти воды потекут по Иудее, дойдут ей до горла и почти затопят её. И наводнение это не прекратится, пока не покроет всю страну, Эммануил".

Associate yourselves, O ye people, and ye shall be broken in pieces; and give ear, all ye of far countries: gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces; gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces.

Приготовьтесь к войне, народы, но вы будете побеждены. Слушайте, все дальние страны, и к битве готовьтесь, но вы будете побеждены.

Take counsel together, and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us.

Стройте планы сражений, но ваши замыслы будут разрушены. Приказывайте войскам, но будут бессильны эти приказы, ибо с нами Бог!

A Call to Fear God

For the LORD spake thus to me with a strong hand, and instructed me that I should not walk in the way of this people, saying,

Господь во всём Своём могуществе говорил со мной, Господь предупредил меня не поступать, как все. Он сказал:

12

Say ye not, A confederacy, to all them to whom this people shall say, A confederacy; neither fear ye their fear, nor be afraid.

"Каждый считает, что другие замышляют против него, не верь этому и не бойся того, чего страшатся другие!"

13

Sanctify the LORD of hosts himself; and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread.

13

Господь Всемогущий — Его ты должен бояться, Его ты должен почитать и перед Ним трепетать.

14

And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

14

Если будешь чтить Господа и считать Его святым, Он станет твоим убежищем. Но ты Его не почитаешь, и потому Господь будет скалой, с которой вы упадёте. Он — камень, о который спотыкаются два рода Израиля. Он — сеть для жителей Иерусалима.

15

And many among them shall stumble, and fall, and be broken, and be snared, and be taken.

15

(Многие упадут с этой скалы и разобьются, и многие будут пойманы. )

16

Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples.

И сказал Бог Исайе: "Составь завет и запечатай его при Моих последователях, сохрани для будущего Моё поучение.

17

And I will wait upon the LORD, that hideth his face from the house of Jacob, and I will look for him.

17

Вот этот завет: Я от Господа помощи жду. Бог стыдится семьи Иакова, Он не хочет смотреть на неё, но я надеюсь на Господа, и Он нас спасёт.

18

Behold, I and the children whom the LORD hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion.

Дети мои и я сам — вот доказательство и предзнаменованье для людей Израиля. Мы были посланы Господом Всемогущим, живущим на Сионе".

Afflictions to Idolaters

And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead?

Некоторые говорят: "Спроси предсказателей будущего и чародеев (они всегда чирикают, как птицы, и бормочут себе под нос, чтобы люди поверили, будто у них есть сила)", но я говорю, что народ должен просить помощи у Бога. Предсказатели будущего и чародеи спрашивают мёртвых. Почему живые должны спрашивать мёртвых?

To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

Вы должны следовать поучениям и завету. Если не будете следовать им, можете сбиться на ложные поучения, идущие от чародеев и предсказателей будущего, но они пусты, и вам не будет от них пользы.

And they shall pass through it, hardly bestead and hungry: and it shall come to pass, that when they shall be hungry, they shall fret themselves, and curse their king and their God, and look upward.

От них на земле будут беды и голод, люди разозлятся и начнут роптать против царя и его богов. И тогда они обратятся за помощью к Господу.

22

And they shall look unto the earth; and behold trouble and darkness, dimness of anguish; and they shall be driven to darkness.

Они посмотрят вокруг и увидят только беды и тьму, мрачную печаль людей, которых заставили расстаться со своей страной. И все, кто во тьме попал в ловушку, не смогут освободиться.
