The priests said not, Where is the LORD? and they that handle the law knew me not: the pastors also transgressed against me, and the prophets prophesied by Baal, and walked after things that do not profit.

And those who handle the law did not know Me;
The rulers also transgressed against Me;
The prophets prophesied by Baal,
And walked after things that do not profit. -

«Где Господь?»
Учителя Закона Меня не знали;
вожди восстали против Меня.
Пророки пророчествовали от имени Баала7
и поклонялись ничтожным идолам. -
Священики не запитали: Де є Господь? І ті, хто тримається закону, Мене не знали, і пастирі Мене не вшановували, а пророки пророкували Ваалом і пішли за нікчемним!
