Ezekiel's Call
And he said unto me, Son of man, stand upon thy feet, and I will speak unto thee.
And he said unto me, Son of man, stand upon thy feet, and I will speak unto thee.
І Він сказав мені: Людський сину, стань на свої ноги, і Я до тебе говоритиму.
And the spirit entered into me when he spake unto me, and set me upon my feet, that I heard him that spake unto me.
І зійшов на мене дух, і взяв мене, підняв мене і поставив мене на мої ноги, і я чув, як Він промовляв до мене
And he said unto me, Son of man, I send thee to the children of Israel, to a rebellious nation that hath rebelled against me: they and their fathers have transgressed against me, even unto this very day.
і сказав мені: Людський сину, Я тебе посилаю до дому Ізраїля, що засмутили Мене, які засмутили Мене самі та їхні батьки аж до сьогоднішнього дня.
For they are impudent children and stiffhearted. I do send thee unto them; and thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD.
І скажеш їм: Так говорить Господь!
And they, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear, (for they are a rebellious house,) yet shall know that there hath been a prophet among them.
Тож може послухають чи злякаються, тому що вони — Дім, який засмучує, і пізнають, що ти є пророком посеред них.
And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house.
І ти, людський сину, не бійся їх і не жахайся їхнього обличчя, тому що вони збунтуються і повстануть кругом проти тебе, — ти живеш посеред скорпіонів. Не бійся їхніх слів і не жахайся їхнього обличчя, тому що це — Дім, який засмучує.
And thou shalt speak my words unto them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear: for they are most rebellious.
І скажеш їм Мої слова, чи може послухають, чи побояться, бо вони — Дім, що засмучує.
But thou, son of man, hear what I say unto thee; Be not thou rebellious like that rebellious house: open thy mouth, and eat that I give thee.
І ти, людський сину, послухай Того, Хто промовляє до тебе, не будь тим, хто засмучує, так, як Дім, що засмучує. Відкрий свої уста і їж те, що Я тобі даю.
And when I looked, behold, an hand was sent unto me; and, lo, a roll of a book was therein;
