Hosea Redeems his Wife
Then said the LORD unto me, Go yet, love a woman beloved of her friend, yet an adulteress, according to the love of the LORD toward the children of Israel, who look to other gods, and love flagons of wine.

Господь сказав до мене: «Іди ще, полюби жінку, яку любить її друг, перелюбку, так само, як Господь любить синів Ізраїля, хоч вони й звертаються до інших богів і люблять печива виноградні.»
So I bought her to me for fifteen pieces of silver, and for an homer of barley, and an half homer of barley:
І я купив собі її за п'ятнадцять срібняків та за хомер ячменю й пів хомера ячменю,
And I said unto her, Thou shalt abide for me many days; thou shalt not play the harlot, and thou shalt not be for another man: so will I also be for thee.
і сказав їй: «Довгий час сидітимеш мені самотньою, не блудуючи, і не належатимеш ніякому чоловікові; таким же й я буду до тебе.»
For the children of Israel shall abide many days without a king, and without a prince, and without a sacrifice, and without an image, and without an ephod, and without teraphim:
Бо довгий час сини Ізраїля сидітимуть самотніми, без царя й без князя, без жертви й без пам'ятника, без ефоду й без терафів.
Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the LORD their God, and David their king; and shall fear the LORD and his goodness in the latter days.
Потім сини Ізраїля повернуться й шукатимуть Господа, Бога свого, й Давида, царя свого; і, тремтівши, прийдуть до Господа й до його доброти — наприкінці днів.
