Laws about Leprosy
And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron, saying,
And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron, saying,
Господь промовив до Мойсея й Аарона, кажучи:
When a man shall have in the skin of his flesh a rising, a scab, or bright spot, and it be in the skin of his flesh like the plague of leprosy; then he shall be brought unto Aaron the priest, or unto one of his sons the priests:
Якщо в якоїсь людини на шкірі її тіла буде блискучий рубець чи пляма, і буде ураження проказою на шкірі її тіла, то нехай вона буде приведена до священика Аарона чи до одного з його синів, священиків.
And the priest shall look on the plague in the skin of the flesh: and when the hair in the plague is turned white, and the plague in sight be deeper than the skin of his flesh, it is a plague of leprosy: and the priest shall look on him, and pronounce him unclean.
Священик огляне ураження на шкірі її тіла, — і якщо волоски на ураженні стали білими, і вигляд того ураження глибший від поверхні шкіри тіла, то це є ураження проказою. Священик вчинить огляд і оголосить її нечистою.
If the bright spot be white in the skin of his flesh, and in sight be not deeper than the skin, and the hair thereof be not turned white; then the priest shall shut up him that hath the plague seven days:

And the priest shall look on him the seventh day: and, behold, if the plague in his sight be at a stay, and the plague spread not in the skin; then the priest shall shut him up seven days more:
Сьомого дня священик огляне ураження, і ось — якщо ураження залишається перед ним, — не поширилося ураження по шкірі, то священик ще раз ізолює її на сім днів.
And the priest shall look on him again the seventh day: and, behold, if the plague be somewhat dark, and the plague spread not in the skin, the priest shall pronounce him clean: it is but a scab: and he shall wash his clothes, and be clean.
Сьомого дня священик ще раз огляне її, і ось — якщо ураження тьмяне, не поширилося ураження по шкірі, то священик оголосить її чистою, бо це — просто пляма. І, виправши одяг, вона буде чистою.
But if the scab spread much abroad in the skin, after that he hath been seen of the priest for his cleansing, he shall be seen of the priest again:
Якщо ж після того, як священик оглянув її, щоб оголосити її чистою, пляма, змінившись, пошириться по шкірі, то нехай вона покажеться священикові ще раз.
And if the priest see that, behold, the scab spreadeth in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a leprosy.

When the plague of leprosy is in a man, then he shall be brought unto the priest;
А якщо в якоїсь людини з’явиться ураження проказою, то нехай вона прийде до священика.
And the priest shall see him: and, behold, if the rising be white in the skin, and it have turned the hair white, and there be quick raw flesh in the rising;
Священик учинить огляд, і ось — якщо на шкірі — білий рубець, і він змінив свої волоски на білі, а на рубці — здорова ділянка живого м’яса,
It is an old leprosy in the skin of his flesh, and the priest shall pronounce him unclean, and shall not shut him up: for he is unclean.
то це — задавнена проказа, на шкірі тіла вона. Священик оголосить її нечистою й ізолює її, бо вона нечиста.
And if a leprosy break out abroad in the skin, and the leprosy cover all the skin of him that hath the plague from his head even to his foot, wheresoever the priest looketh;
Якщо ж проказа взагалі розцвіте [1] на шкірі, і покриє проказа всю шкіру ураженої особи від голови до ніг, куди лиш не гляне священик,
Then the priest shall consider: and, behold, if the leprosy have covered all his flesh, he shall pronounce him clean that hath the plague: it is all turned white: he is clean.
то священик учинить огляд, і ось — якщо проказа покрила всю шкіру тіла, то нехай священик оголосить уражену особу чистою, бо вона вся стала біла, — вона чиста.
But when raw flesh appeareth in him, he shall be unclean.
А того дня, коли в ній з’явиться живе тіло, вона буде оголошена нечистою.
And the priest shall see the raw flesh, and pronounce him to be unclean: for the raw flesh is unclean: it is a leprosy.
Священик огляне здорове тіло, — і здорове тіло вчинить її нечистою, бо воно є нечисте, це є проказа.
Or if the raw flesh turn again, and be changed unto white, he shall come unto the priest;
Якщо ж здорове тіло відновиться і стане білим, то нехай вона прийде до священика;
And the priest shall see him: and, behold, if the plague be turned into white; then the priest shall pronounce him clean that hath the plague: he is clean.
священик учинить огляд, і ось — якщо ураження стало білим, то нехай священик оголосить уражену особу чистою, — вона чиста.
The flesh also, in which, even in the skin thereof, was a boil, and is healed,
А якщо на чиємусь тілі буде на шкірі нарив, і він загоїться,
And in the place of the boil there be a white rising, or a bright spot, white, and somewhat reddish, and it be shewed to the priest;
і на місці нариву буде білий рубець або біліюча чи червоніюча блискуча пляма, то нехай він покажеться священикові.
And if, when the priest seeth it, behold, it be in sight lower than the skin, and the hair thereof be turned white; the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a plague of leprosy broken out of the boil.
Священик учинить огляд, і ось — якщо її вигляд глибший від поверхні шкіри, а її волоски стали білі, то нехай священик оголосить його нечистим: це є проказа, яка розцвіла в нариві.
But if the priest look on it, and, behold, there be no white hairs therein, and if it be not lower than the skin, but be somewhat dark; then the priest shall shut him up seven days:
Якщо ж священик учинить огляд, і ось — у ній немає білих волосків, вона не глибша від поверхні шкіри тіла, і вони тьмяні, то священик ізолює його на сім днів.
And if it spread much abroad in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a plague.
Якщо ж вона тоді таки пошириться [2] по шкірі, то священик оголосить його нечистим, — це є ураження проказою, що розцвіла в нариві.
But if the bright spot stay in his place, and spread not, it is a burning boil; and the priest shall pronounce him clean.
Якщо ж блискучість залишатиметься у своїх межах і не поширюватиметься, то це просто рубець від нариву, — священик оголосить його чистим.
Or if there be any flesh, in the skin whereof there is a hot burning, and the quick flesh that burneth have a white bright spot, somewhat reddish, or white;
А якщо на чиємусь тілі на його шкірі буде опік від вогню, і буде яскраве, блискуче, біло-червонувате чи чисто-біле загоєння від опіку на його шкірі,
Then the priest shall look upon it: and, behold, if the hair in the bright spot be turned white, and it be in sight deeper than the skin; it is a leprosy broken out of the burning: wherefore the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is the plague of leprosy.
то нехай священик огляне його, і ось — якщо білі волоски стали блискучими, а його вигляд — глибший від поверхні шкіри, то це є проказа, яка розцвіла в опіку. Тож священик оголосить його нечистим, бо це є ураження проказою.
But if the priest look on it, and, behold, there be no white hair in the bright spot, and it be no lower than the other skin, but be somewhat dark; then the priest shall shut him up seven days:
Якщо ж священик учинить огляд, і ось — на блискучій плямі немає білих волосків, вона не є глибша від поверхні шкіри і вона тьмяна, — то священик ізолює його на сім днів.
And the priest shall look upon him the seventh day: and if it be spread much abroad in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is the plague of leprosy.
Сьомого дня священик огляне її, — і якщо вона таки пошириться [3] по шкірі, то священик оголосить його нечистим: це є ураження проказою, яка розцвіла в нариві.
And if the bright spot stay in his place, and spread not in the skin, but it be somewhat dark; it is a rising of the burning, and the priest shall pronounce him clean: for it is an inflammation of the burning.
Якщо ж блискуча пляма залишається у своїх межах, не поширюється по шкірі, і вона тьмяна, то це є рубець від опіку. Тож священик оголосить його чистим, бо це є слід від опіку.
If a man or woman have a plague upon the head or the beard;
А якщо в чоловіка або жінки з’явиться ураження проказою на голові чи на бороді,
Then the priest shall see the plague: and, behold, if it be in sight deeper than the skin; and there be in it a yellow thin hair; then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a dry scall, even a leprosy upon the head or beard.
то нехай священик огляне те ураження, і ось — якщо його вигляд більш запалий від поверхні шкіри, а волоски на ньому жовтуваті й тонкі, то нехай священик оголосить його нечистим: це є парші, проказа голови чи проказа бороди.
And if the priest look on the plague of the scall, and, behold, it be not in sight deeper than the skin, and that there is no black hair in it; then the priest shall shut up him that hath the plague of the scall seven days:
А якщо священик огляне ураження паршами, і ось — його вигляд не є більш запалий від поверхні шкіри, і волоски на ньому не є жовтуваті, то нехай священик ізолює ураженого паршами на сім днів.
And in the seventh day the priest shall look on the plague: and, behold, if the scall spread not, and there be in it no yellow hair, and the scall be not in sight deeper than the skin;
Сьомого дня священик огляне ураження, і ось — якщо парші не поширилися, волоски на них не є жовтуваті, і вигляд паршів не є глибший від поверхні шкіри,
He shall be shaven, but the scall shall he not shave; and the priest shall shut up him that hath the scall seven days more:
то нехай він поголить шкіру, але паршів хай не голить; і священик ізолює хворого на парші ще раз на сім днів.
And in the seventh day the priest shall look on the scall: and, behold, if the scall be not spread in the skin, nor be in sight deeper than the skin; then the priest shall pronounce him clean: and he shall wash his clothes, and be clean.
Сьомого дня священик огляне парші, і ось — якщо парші не поширилися по шкірі після того, як її поголено, і вигляд паршів не є глибший від поверхні шкіри, то нехай священик оголосить його чистим, і, виправши одяг, він стане чистим.
But if the scall spread much in the skin after his cleansing;
Якщо ж після оголошення його чистим, парші таки поширяться [4] по шкірі,
Then the priest shall look on him: and, behold, if the scall be spread in the skin, the priest shall not seek for yellow hair; he is unclean.
то нехай священик учинить огляд, і ось — якщо парші поширилися по шкірі, то священик уже не дивитиметься за жовтими волосками, бо він нечистий.
But if the scall be in his sight at a stay, and that there is black hair grown up therein; the scall is healed, he is clean: and the priest shall pronounce him clean.
А якщо парші перед ним залишилися у своїх межах, і на них виросли чорні волоски, то парші пройшли, — він чистий, тож священик оголосить його чистим.
If a man also or a woman have in the skin of their flesh bright spots, even white bright spots;
А якщо в чоловіка або жінки на шкірі їхнього тіла з’являться блискучі плями з білуватим полиском,
Then the priest shall look: and, behold, if the bright spots in the skin of their flesh be darkish white; it is a freckled spot that groweth in the skin; he is clean.
то нехай священик учинить огляд, і ось — якщо на шкірі їхнього тіла блискучі плями з білуватим полиском, то це лишай, — він чистий; він розцвів на шкірі його тіла, — він чистий.
And the man whose hair is fallen off his head, he is bald; yet is he clean.
Якщо в когось облисіє голова, то він просто лисий, — він чистий.
And he that hath his hair fallen off from the part of his head toward his face, he is forehead bald: yet is he clean.
І якщо його голова облисіє спереду, то він просто лисий спереду, — він чистий.
And if there be in the bald head, or bald forehead, a white reddish sore; it is a leprosy sprung up in his bald head, or his bald forehead.
Якщо ж на його задній лисині чи на його передній лисині з’явиться біло-червонувате ураження, то це є проказа, що розцвіла на його задній лисині чи на його передній лисині.
Then the priest shall look upon it: and, behold, if the rising of the sore be white reddish in his bald head, or in his bald forehead, as the leprosy appeareth in the skin of the flesh;
Священик огляне його, і ось — якщо вигляд ураження на його задній лисині чи на його передній лисині — біло-червонуватий, схожий на вигляд прокази на шкірі його тіла,
He is a leprous man, he is unclean: the priest shall pronounce him utterly unclean; his plague is in his head.
то він — прокажена людина. Священик неодмінно оголосить його нечистим [5]: на його голові — ураження проказою.
And the leper in whom the plague is, his clothes shall be rent, and his head bare, and he shall put a covering upon his upper lip, and shall cry, Unclean, unclean.
У прокаженого, в якого є ураження проказою, нехай одяг буде розперезаний, його голова — непокрита, нехай він буде загорнений навколо своїх уст і нехай називається нечистим.
All the days wherein the plague shall be in him he shall be defiled; he is unclean: he shall dwell alone; without the camp shall his habitation be.
Усі дні, доки в нього буде те ураження, будучи нечистим, він буде вважатися нечистим. Він житиме окремо, місце його перебування буде поза табором.
Mildewed Clothing
The garment also that the plague of leprosy is in, whether it be a woollen garment, or a linen garment;

А якщо ураження проказою з’явиться на одязі, — на вовняному одязі або на льняному одязі,
Whether it be in the warp, or woof; of linen, or of woollen; whether in a skin, or in any thing made of skin;
на повздовжніх або на поперечних нитках, на лляній або на вовняній тканині, на шкірі або на будь-чому, що вироблене зі шкіри, —
And if the plague be greenish or reddish in the garment, or in the skin, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in any thing of skin; it is a plague of leprosy, and shall be shewed unto the priest:
і на шкірі або на одязі, на повздовжніх або на поперечних нитках тканини, чи на будь-якій речі, виробленій зі шкіри, з’явиться зеленувате або червонувате ураження, то це є ураження проказою, — тож нехай власник покаже його священикові.
And the priest shall look upon the plague, and shut up it that hath the plague seven days:
Священик огляне те ураження й ізолює священик уражену річ на сім днів.
And he shall look on the plague on the seventh day: if the plague be spread in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in a skin, or in any work that is made of skin; the plague is a fretting leprosy; it is unclean.
Сьомого дня священик огляне ураження, — і якщо ураження пошириться на одязі, на повздовжніх або на поперечних нитках тканини, чи на шкірі, на будь-чому, що в якомусь виробі буде вироблене зі шкіри, то те ураження — тривка проказа, воно нечисте.
He shall therefore burn that garment, whether warp or woof, in woollen or in linen, or any thing of skin, wherein the plague is: for it is a fretting leprosy; it shall be burnt in the fire.
Нехай він спалить одяг, повздовжні чи поперечні нитки на вовняній чи на лляній тканині, чи на будь-якій шкіряній речі, на якій буде те ураження, бо це є тривка проказа, — нехай буде спалена у вогні.
And if the priest shall look, and, behold, the plague be not spread in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in any thing of skin;
Якщо ж священик учинить огляд, — і ураження не пошириться по одязі, по повздовжніх чи по поперечних нитках тканини, чи по будь-якій шкіряній речі,
Then the priest shall command that they wash the thing wherein the plague is, and he shall shut it up seven days more:
то нехай священик звелить, і власник випере те, на чому є ураження, і священик ізолює уражену річ на сім днів ще раз.
And the priest shall look on the plague, after that it is washed: and, behold, if the plague have not changed his colour, and the plague be not spread; it is unclean; thou shalt burn it in the fire; it is fret inward, whether it be bare within or without.
А після того, як його випрано, священик огляне ураження, — і якщо те ураження не змінило вигляду й ураження не поширюється, то воно нечисте — нехай буде спалене у вогні; воно закріпилося на одязі, на повздовжніх чи на поперечних нитках тканини.
And if the priest look, and, behold, the plague be somewhat dark after the washing of it; then he shall rend it out of the garment, or out of the skin, or out of the warp, or out of the woof:
А якщо священик учинить огляд, — і ураження після того, як його випрано, буде тьмяне, то нехай він вирве його з одягу, зі шкіри чи з повздовжніх чи поперечних ниток тканини.
And if it appear still in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in any thing of skin; it is a spreading plague: thou shalt burn that wherein the plague is with fire.
Якщо ж воно з’явиться на одязі, на повздовжніх чи на поперечних нитках тканини, чи на якійсь шкіряній речі знову, то це є проказа, що розквітає. Нехай те, на чому є ураження, буде спалене у вогні.
And the garment, either warp, or woof, or whatsoever thing of skin it be, which thou shalt wash, if the plague be departed from them, then it shall be washed the second time, and shall be clean.
А одяг, повздовжні чи поперечні нитки тканини, чи будь-яка шкіряна річ, які будуть випрані, і ураження з них зникне, — нехай будуть випрані ще раз і будуть чисті.
This is the law of the plague of leprosy in a garment of woollen or linen, either in the warp, or woof, or any thing of skins, to pronounce it clean, or to pronounce it unclean.
Такий закон про ураження проказою вовняного чи льняного одягу, повздовжніх чи поперечних ниток тканини, чи будь-якої шкіряної речі — для оголошення їх чистими або оголошення їх нечистими.
