Sins Requiring a Sin Offering
And if a soul sin, and hear the voice of swearing, and is a witness, whether he hath seen or known of it; if he do not utter it, then he shall bear his iniquity.

Якщо ж якась душа згрішить: наприклад, почує голос взяття клятви, — а вона була свідком чогось, або бачила, або знала, — то якщо вона не оповістить про це, — то візьме на себе гріх.
Or if a soul touch any unclean thing, whether it be a carcase of an unclean beast, or a carcase of unclean cattle, or the carcase of unclean creeping things, and if it be hidden from him; he also shall be unclean, and guilty.
Або якщо якась душа доторкнеться до будь-якої нечистої речі — чи то до мертвечини, чи то до нечистої здобичі хижака, чи то до мертвечин нечистих гидот, чи то до мертвечин нечистих тварин,
Or if he touch the uncleanness of man, whatsoever uncleanness it be that a man shall be defiled withal, and it be hid from him; when he knoweth of it, then he shall be guilty.
або доторкнеться до нечистоти людини, — до будь-якої її нечистоти, доторкнувшись до якої, оскверниться, — і це від неї утаїться, та згодом вона усвідомить це, — то вона допустилася переступу.
Or if a soul swear, pronouncing with his lips to do evil, or to do good, whatsoever it be that a man shall pronounce with an oath, and it be hid from him; when he knoweth of it, then he shall be guilty in one of these.
Або якщо якась душа, виразно промовляючи вустами, присягнеться зробити щось погане чи зробити щось добре, — у всьому, що б лиш людина не промовила із клятвою, — і це втаїться перед її очима, та згодом вона усвідомить це, — то вона згрішила в якійсь одній із цих речей.
And it shall be, when he shall be guilty in one of these things, that he shall confess that he hath sinned in that thing:
Тож нехай вона визнає гріх, яким у цих випадках згрішила,
And he shall bring his trespass offering unto the LORD for his sin which he hath sinned, a female from the flock, a lamb or a kid of the goats, for a sin offering; and the priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his sin.
і принесе Господу за те, чим допустилася переступу, за гріх, яким згрішила, самку — ягничку з овець або козеня із кіз [в жертву] за гріх. Священик звершить за неї викуплення, за її гріх, яким вона згрішила, і цей гріх буде їй прощено.
And if he be not able to bring a lamb, then he shall bring for his trespass, which he hath committed, two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, unto the LORD; one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering.
Якщо ж її рука не спроможеться на вівцю, то нехай принесе Господу за свій гріх, яким згрішила, дві горлиці або двох голубенят: одне — [в жертву] за гріх, а друге — у всепалення.
And he shall bring them unto the priest, who shall offer that which is for the sin offering first, and wring off his head from his neck, but shall not divide it asunder:
Нехай принесе їх до священика, і священик принесе спершу те, що [в жертву] за гріх: священик скрутить йому голову від шиї, але не відділить її,
And he shall sprinkle of the blood of the sin offering upon the side of the altar; and the rest of the blood shall be wrung out at the bottom of the altar: it is a sin offering.
і покропить кров’ю [жертви] за гріх по стінці жертовника; решту ж крові вицідить до підніжжя жертовника. Це є [жертва за] гріх.
And he shall offer the second for a burnt offering, according to the manner: and the priest shall make an atonement for him for his sin which he hath sinned, and it shall be forgiven him.
А другого він приготує на всепалення, як належить. Так священик звершить викуплення за її гріх, яким вона згрішила, і їй буде прощено.
But if he be not able to bring two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, then he that sinned shall bring for his offering the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a sin offering; he shall put no oil upon it, neither shall he put any frankincense thereon: for it is a sin offering.
Якщо ж її рука не знайде й пари горлиць чи двох голубенят, то нехай принесе у свій дар за те, що згрішила, десяту частину ефи питльованого борошна [в жертву] за гріх. Хай не поливає на нього олії, ані не кладе на нього ладану, бо це є [жертва] за гріх.
Then shall he bring it to the priest, and the priest shall take his handful of it, even a memorial thereof, and burn it on the altar, according to the offerings made by fire unto the LORD: it is a sin offering.
Нехай вона принесе його до священика, а священик, набравши з нього повну пригорщу як його пам’ятну частку, покладе на жертовник всепалень для Господа. Це є [жертва за] гріх.
And the priest shall make an atonement for him as touching his sin that he hath sinned in one of these, and it shall be forgiven him: and the remnant shall be the priest's, as a meat offering.
Так священик звершить за неї викуплення, за її гріх, яким згрішила в одному із цих випадків, — і їй буде прощено. Те ж, що залишилося, буде для священика, як жертва борошна.
Laws for Guilt Offerings
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
Господь промовив до Мойсея, кажучи:
If a soul commit a trespass, and sin through ignorance, in the holy things of the LORD; then he shall bring for his trespass unto the LORD a ram without blemish out of the flocks, with thy estimation by shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary, for a trespass offering:
Коли якась душа забуде щось через забудькуватість і ненавмисно згрішить проти якоїсь з Господніх святих речей, то нехай принесе Господу [в жертву за] свій переступ барана без вади з дрібної худоби вартістю срібла сиклів сиклем святощів за те, у чому допустилася переступу.
And he shall make amends for the harm that he hath done in the holy thing, and shall add the fifth part thereto, and give it unto the priest: and the priest shall make an atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering, and it shall be forgiven him.
А те, чим згрішила проти якоїсь із святих речей, нехай вона відшкодує, надбавить до того ще п’яту частину й дасть те священикові. Священик звершить за неї викуплення бараном [жертви за] переступ, і їй буде прощено.
And if a soul sin, and commit any of these things which are forbidden to be done by the commandments of the LORD; though he wist it not, yet is he guilty, and shall bear his iniquity.
Душа, яка згрішить та скоїть якусь з усіх тих речей, що Господь наказав, що їх не слід чинити, — а вона не знала цього, — і вона допуститься переступу й візьме на себе гріх, —
And he shall bring a ram without blemish out of the flock, with thy estimation, for a trespass offering, unto the priest: and the priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his ignorance wherein he erred and wist it not, and it shall be forgiven him.
нехай приведе до священика безвадного барана з дрібної худоби, вартістю срібла, у [жертву за] переступ. Священик звершить за неї викуплення за її помилку, якою вона помилилася, та не знала цього, — і їй буде прощено,
